Muhammad Tanveer (born 1 February 1981) is a cricketer who plays for the Qatar national cricket team. [1] He was named in Qatar's squad for the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament in South Africa. [2] His first fixture of the tournament was against Guernsey, on 6 September 2017. [3]

He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Qatar against Saudi Arabia on 21 January 2019 in the 2019 ACC Western Region T20 tournament. [4] He was a member of Qatar's squad for the Group A matches in the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. [5]

In July 2022, he was named in Qatar's squad for the 2022 Canada Cricket World Cup Challenge League A tournament. [6] He made his List A debut on 28 July 2022, for Qatar against Singapore. [7]

Tanveer Ahmed is a Hong Kong cricketer. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Afghanistan in the 2016 Asia Cup Qualifier on 22 February 2016. Before making his international debut, he was named in Hong Kong's squad for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. He made his first-class cricket debut against Ireland in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 30 August 2016. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Scotland on 8 September 2016.
