The Municipality of Kostel (pronounced  [ˈkɔːstɛu̯] ; Slovene : Občina Kostel) is a municipality in southern Slovenia. Its seat is the settlement of Vas. [2] It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region. [1]
