Mustapha Kamel Nabli (Arabic :مصطفىكمالالنابلي;born in 1948) is a Tunisian economist. He served as Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia from January 2011 until July 2012. [1] [2] [3]
Born on February 10,1948,in Téboulba,Tunisia, [4] Nabli studied Economics in Tunisia,where he received the Prize of the President of the Republic in June 1969 for his Bachelor in Economics. He received his Master's degree and a PhD in Economics at the University of California,Los Angeles. [5] He also holds a degree from Tunis Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA).
Professor of Economics at the Tunis University and member of Tunisian Academy of Sciences,Letters,and Arts;visiting professor,various universities in Canada,US,Belgium and France;international consultant. 1988-90,Chairman,Tunis Stock Exchange. 1990-95,Minister of Economic Development and Minister of Planning and Regional Development of Tunisia;concurrently,1994-1996:member of U.N. Tunisia,officially the Republic of Tunisia,is the northernmost country in Africa. It is a part of the Maghreb region of North Africa,bordered by Algeria to the west and southwest,Libya to the southeast,and the Mediterranean Sea to the north and east. Vernacular Tunisian Arabic is the most spoken,and French also serves as an administrative and educational language in some contexts,but it has no official status.
Former President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali has maintained Tunisia's long-time policy of seeking good relations with the West,while playing an active role in Arab and African regional bodies. President Habib Bourguiba took a nonaligned stance but emphasized close relations with Europe,Pakistan,and the United States.

Baghdadi Ali Mahmudi is a Libyan politician who was Secretary of the General People's Committee of Libya from 5 March 2006 to as late as 1 September 2011,when he acknowledged the collapse of the GPCO and the ascendance of the National Transitional Council as a result of the Libyan Civil War. He has a medical degree,specialising in obstetrics and gynecology,and had served as Deputy Prime Minister to Prime Minister Shukri Ghanem since 2003 at the time he was appointed to replace him. He was a part of Gaddafi's inner circle at least prior to his escape in mid-2011. He was arrested in Tunisia for illegal border entry and jailed for six months,although this was later overruled on appeal,however a Tunisian court decided to extradite Mahmoudi to Libya under a request from Libya's Transitional Council.
