In 2017, the event was one of the four Xfinity Dash4Cash events, taking Indianapolis Motor Speedway's spot and making the 2017 Dash4Cash events at Phoenix, Bristol, Richmond, and Dover. In 2018, the Dash4Cash event moved to the Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega.

The ToyotaCare 250 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series race that takes place at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. The race was first held during the inaugural season for the Xfinity Series in 1982 as a 150-lap event. The race was removed from the schedule after 1984. It returned to the series starting in 1990 as a 200 lap race. It was expanded to 250 lap distance in 1994. In 2016, as part of an overhauling of the Richmond spring race weekend, including the new Dash4Cash format, the total of 210-laps and had two 35-lap heat races and a 140-lap feature. In 2017, the heat races were discontinued, and the race returned to its 250-lap distance with the new stage format: stages 1 and 2 were 75 laps long, and stage 3 made up the remaining 100 laps.

The 2022 United Rentals 200 was the fourth stock car race of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series and the 18th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a 1.0 mile permanent tri-oval racetrack. The race was run over 200 laps. Noah Gragson of JR Motorsports would dominate, leading 114 laps, and winning the race. This was Gragson's sixth career win in the Xfinity Series, and his first of the season. To fill out the podium, Brandon Jones of Joe Gibbs Racing and Josh Berry of JR Motorsports would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The 2016 Axalta Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200 was the fourth stock car race of the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series season and the 12th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix International Raceway, a 1-mile (1.6 km) permanent low-banked tri-oval race track. The race took the scheduled 200 laps to complete. At race's end, Kyle Busch, driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, would dominate the race to win his 79th career NASCAR Xfinity Series race and his third win of the season. To fill out the podium, Erik Jones and Daniel Suárez, both driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, would finish second and third, respectively.
