Forest Junction Remnant business district of a town that formed where two railroads crossed, then withered as logging faded, as the automobile replaced the train, and as Appleton grew. [11] Structures include the 1884 Haese General Store (pictured), [12] the 1908 Hunt hardware store, a summer kitchen, [13] and the 1908 Haese gas station.

Brillion 2-story Italianate-style farmhouse with a cupola on top and a 1-story wing, built in 1887 for the Stanelles, who immigrated from Silesia. Gottlieb was a progressive farmer, who turned early to dairying and who threshed for neighbors with his mechanical threshing machine. [16]

New Holstein The initial modest house built in 1872 was expanded and remodeled in a grand Stick style in 1892. Timm was a German immigrant who built a grain elevator in New Holstein, served as village president, and founded the State Bank. Now a museum. [19] [20]

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Calumet County Park Group</span> United States historic place

Calumet County Park Group is an archaeological site in Calumet County, Wisconsin, United States. It consists of six effigy mounds of panthers and other water spirits and it is located at the top of the Niagara Escarpment where overlook Lake Winnebago. The group is located within the Calumet County Park approximately 2 miles northwest of Stockbridge. The mounds are consistent with other mound groups found at the peak of the Niagara Escarpment along the eastern shore of Lake Winnebago, including the High Cliff Mounds. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Stockbridge Indian Cemetery</span> United States historic place

The Stockbridge Indian Cemetery is a cemetery north of Stockbridge, Wisconsin. It is located on Moore Road just west of Wisconsin Highway 55. The cemetery was established in 1834 after the Stockbridge Indians moved to the community. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
