An extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP. Contemporary EPs generally contain a minimum of three tracks and maximum of six tracks, and are considered "less expensive and time-consuming" for an artist to produce than an album. An EP originally referred to specific types of vinyl records other than 78 rpm standard play (SP) and LP, but it is now applied to mid-length CDs and downloads as well.
Kottonmouth Kings is an American hip hop group from Placentia, Orange County, California. The band officially formed in 1996, describing their eclectic sound as "psychedelic hip-hop punk rock". Kottonmouth Kings are composed of Daddy X, Lou Dog, D-Loc, DJ Bobby B, and newest member/ vocalist, The Dirtball. The group first attracted mainstream attention with the song "Suburban Life", which appeared on the soundtrack to the film Scream 2. The groups original lineup consisted of D-Loc and Saint Dog and Johnny Richter(Johnny left before the recording of Royal Highness) but later incorporated Daddy X and the Dirtball. The group has since returned to their original lineup.

Produced by George Martin, it includes the soundtrack to the 1967 film of the same name. The EP was issued in the UK on 8 December 1967 on the Parlophone label, while the Capitol Records LP release in the US occurred on 27 November and featured eleven tracks with the addition of songs from the band's 1967 singles. The first release as an eleven-track LP in the UK did not occur until 1976.

The songwriting duo of Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the band's first major-label recording contract with Elektra Records in 1996, which was later reported as the largest publishing deal ever for an unsigned artist. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1997, with the band largely consisting of Jenkins, Cadogan, Arion Salazar, and Brad Hargreaves (drums). Shortly after the release of the band's second album in 1999, Blue, with the same line-up, Cadogan was released from the band under controversial circumstances.
Daniel Alan Maman, professionally known as The Alchemist, is an American record producer, disc jockey (DJ) and rapper. He began his music career in 1991 in the hip hop duo The Whooliganz under the moniker Mudfoot, along with now-actor Scott Caan. After rising to prominence in the late 1990s, as a close associate of Dilated Peoples and Mobb Deep, he went on to produce for many of hip hop's leading artists in the 2000s, and has been hailed as one of the genre's leading producers. He is currently working as a DJ with Action Bronson. He produces for many artists, most of his recent production is for a close group of frequent collaborative rappers. He focuses on producing entire albums for rappers and instrumental projects of his own.
Twiztid is an American hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan. Formed in 1997, Twiztid is composed of Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric, who perform under the respective personas of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide. Spaniolo and Methric are former members of the group House of Krazees, which disbanded in 1997 a year after the duo's departure. They released their debut album in 1997.
Zero 7 are an English musical duo consisting of Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker. They began as studio engineers and in 1997 formed the group Zero 7. Their debut album, Simple Things, was released in 2001. Subsequent albums include When It Falls, The Garden, and Yeah Ghost.

The album peaked #39 on the Billboard 200, #3 on the Independent Album chart, #39 on the Top Internet Albums and #39 on the Billboard Comprehensive Albums chart on the week of June 24, 2006.
WKTK is a commercial radio station licensed in Crystal River, Florida, broadcasting to the Gainesville–Ocala, Florida area on 98.5 FM. The station began broadcasting in 1976 as WRYO, a religious station. The WKTK calls were adopted in 1986 and the station has been through various forms of the Adult contemporary and Hot AC formats since before finally settling into the mainstream AC sound it now uses. It can be picked up in portions of Orlando, Jacksonville, and the Tampa Bay Area. Each year, beginning in 2015, the station switches to a Christmas music format from mid-December through Christmas Day.

So Far Gone is the debut extended play by Canadian hip hop recording artist Drake. It was released on September 15, 2009, by Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records and Universal Motown. This is his reissued project from his third mixtape that was released earlier on February 13, 2009. This EP features five tracks from the mixtape, with the inclusions of two new songs. The EP features guest appearances from Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Bun B and Young Jeezy. The EP was supported by three singles: "Best I Ever Had", "Successful" featuring Trey Songz and Lil Wayne, and "I'm Goin' In" featuring Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. In April 2010, the EP won the Rap Recording of the Year at the 2010's Juno Awards.
Michael Wayne Atha, better known as Yelawolf, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and producer from Gadsden, Alabama. Yelawolf released his first independent album Creek Water in 2005. Between 2005 to 2010 he released one extended play (EP) and four mixtapes. It was not until 2010's Trunk Muzik EP that Yelawolf started to gain mainstream attention. The same year would see Yelawolf sign a record deal with Interscope Records. His first release on a major label would be a somewhat reworked Trunk Muzik, titled Trunk Muzik 0-60 which shared six track's from Trunk Muzik.
