Nicoleta Coica (born 25 June 1982) is a Moldovan former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. [1] Coica qualified for the women's 100 m freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics, by clearing a FINA B-standard entry time of 58.31 from the Russian Open Championships in Moscow. [2] She challenged seven other swimmers on the second heat, including three-time Olympian Agnese Ozoliņa of Latvia. She rounded out the field to last place by 0.15 of a second behind India's Shikha Tandon in 59.85. Coica failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed forty-seventh overall in the preliminaries. [3] [4]

She is also a varsity swimmer for the Kenyon Ladies, and an economics graduate at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

Shim Min-ji is a South Korean former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and backstroke events. She is a two-time Olympian and a three-time relay medalist at the Asian Games (2002).

Dominique Lorraine Diezi is a Swiss former swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle events. She is a two-time Olympian, a 32-time Swiss national champion, a multiple-time record holder in sprint freestyle, and a member of Switzerland's national swimming team (1992–2004). She also earned multiple All-American honors while studying in the United States.

Angela Dawn Chuck is a Jamaican former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Larissa Inangorore is a Burundian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Inangorore qualified for the women's 100 m freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by receiving a Universality place from FINA. She posted an invitation time of 1:26.31 at the All-Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria. She participated in the first heat against two other swimmers Carolina Cerqueda of Andorra and Gloria Koussihouede. She finished behind Cerqueda in second spot by a wide 23.56-second margin in her personal best of 1:23.90. Inangorore failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed forty-ninth overall in the preliminaries.

Pilin Tachakittiranan is a Thai former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and butterfly events. She is a two-time Olympian and a multiple-time age-group record holder in all freestyle distances. Regarded as Thailand's top female swimmer, she has won a total of five gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games.

Tracy Ann Route is a Micronesian former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. She is a two-time Olympian, and holds numerous Pacific age group records in the freestyle and butterfly. She was the first woman to represent the Federated States of Micronesia at the Olympics.

Kathryn Evans is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympic Games. Evans specialised in freestyle and individual medley events. She is a two-time Olympian, and a double British champion in the 200 m individual medley. Evans also played for Nova Centurion Swim Club in Nottingham, under head coach Bill Furniss. Evans is the cousin of late rower Acer Nethercott, who competed in the men's eight at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
