Nikelshchik (Russian : Никельщик) is a bandy club in Verkhny Ufaley, Russia. The club is playing in the Russian Bandy Supreme League, the second tier of Russian bandy. [1] The home games are played at Stadium Nikelshchik in Verkhny Ufaley. [2] The club colours are blue and white. [3]
Their spectator numbers stand out. Whereas it's unusual in their division to reach 1 000, they usually have a couple of thousand, for example 2 750 against Dynamo Mayak [4] or 3 500 against SKA-Sverdlovsk. [5] Although located in Chelyabinsk Oblast, the club belongs to the bandy federation of Sverdlovsk Oblast. [6]

After the indoor stadium Volga-Sport-Arena in Ulyanovsk was finished, Uralsky Trubnik was for a few years the only club in the highest division without artificial ice. That is until Murman got promoted for the 2018-19 season. However, a decision to build an indoor bandy stadium has been taken. In 2017 the team won the pre-season tournament ExTeCupen. In 2019 the club for the first time in its history took a medal in the domestic league with a third place.
