Its success over the years has been built around the area it serves, and the provision of Junior and Primary football to a vast area centred on a twenty-mile radius around Aylsham. [1] . However in recent seasons the league has had to downsize due to teams folding with only one division of 12 clubs operating at the start of the 2018-19 season.

as the season begins again post covid for the 20-21 season there are 15 teams in the league.

The league is affiliated to the Norfolk County Football Association.
