Now Summer 2006 is a compilation CD released by EMI Music Australia in late 2005. Like most Australian summer compilations, it is released in December and is meant to carry on throughout January and February (the three months of summer). Now Summer 2006 is the 11th CD in the Australian Now! series.

"Professional Widow" is a 1996 song written by singer-songwriter Tori Amos. It is a harpsichord-driven rock dirge and was included on her 1996 album Boys for Pele. The eponymous "professional widow" is widely rumoured to be Courtney Love, lead vocalist of the band Hole, whom Trent Reznor blames for the destruction of the friendship between himself and Amos.
