Ondo (音戸町, Ondo-chō) was a town located in Aki District, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 14,294 and a density of 763.16 persons per km². The total area was 18.73 km².
On March 20, 2005, Ondo, along with the towns of Kurahashi and Kamagari (all from Aki District), and the towns of Yasuura, Toyohama and Yutaka (all from Toyota District), was merged into the expanded city of Kure and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

Kure is a city in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. As of 30 April 2023, the city had an estimated population of 208,024 in 106,616 households and a population density of 590 persons per km². The total area of the city is 352.80 square kilometres (136.22 sq mi). With a strong industrial and naval heritage, Kure hosts the second-oldest naval dockyard in Japan and remains an important base for the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force

Aki (安芸) was one of two Satsuma-class semi-dreadnought battleship built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during the first decade of the 20th century. She was the second battleship built domestically in Japan and the first to use steam turbines for propulsion. The ship was named for Aki Province, now a part of Hiroshima Prefecture. The ship saw no combat during World War I. Aki was disarmed in 1922 and sunk as a target in 1924 in accordance with the terms of the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.

Ondō Bridge also known as Ondoo Bridge and Ondo Bridge is a red road bridge that connects the mainland of Kure City, Hiroshima, with Kurahashi Island.
