Passing Stranger is the debut album of British singer-songwriter, Scott Matthews, and was originally released in April 2006, before being re-issued by Island Records in October of the same year. The album contains the singles "Elusive", "Dream Song" and "Passing Stranger". After Scott won the Ivor Novello Award for 'Best Song Lyrically and Musically' for "Elusive", a deluxe edition of the album was re-released, and was made available on 25 June 2007.

Dave Matthews Band, also known by the initialism DMB, is an American rock band that was formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991. The founding members were singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Matthews, bassist Stefan Lessard, drummer and backing vocalist Carter Beauford, and saxophonist LeRoi Moore. Boyd Tinsley joined the band as a violinist soon after. In August 2008, LeRoi Moore died due to complications from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
