Nielsen Music compiles data for its chart rankings based on localized music streaming data, digital downloads, and video plays. Each chart's issue was released every Monday on the magazine's website. Ed Sheeran had the most entries for number-one singles on the chart. The first number-one single on the chart is Sheeran's "Shape of You", on the issue dated June 12, 2017. [2] The magazine published the last issue of the Philippine Hot 100 on January 15, 2018, with Sheeran's "Perfect" as the issue's number-one single. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by Billboard on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday.
