Titus County is a county located in the northeastern region of the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 32,334. Its county seat is Mount Pleasant. The county is named for Andrew Jackson Titus, an early settler.

The Battle of Point Pleasant — known as the Battle of Kanawha in some older accounts — was the only major action of Dunmore's War. It was fought on October 10, 1774, primarily between Virginia militia and Indians from the Shawnee and Mingo tribes. Along the Ohio River near modern Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Indians under the Shawnee Chief Cornstalk attacked Virginia militia under Colonel Andrew Lewis, hoping to halt Lewis's advance into the Ohio Valley. After a long and furious battle, Cornstalk retreated. After the battle, the Virginians, along with a second force led by Lord Dunmore, the Royal Governor of Virginia, marched into the Ohio Valley and compelled Cornstalk to agree to a treaty, ending the war.

The Old Loggers Path (OLP) is a 27.1 mi (43.6 km) loop hiking trail in Lycoming County in north-central Pennsylvania in the United States. Marked with international orange blazes, the Old Loggers Path is located entirely within the Loyalsock State Forest. Most hikers take two and a half to three days and two nights to complete the Old Loggers Path, making it popular for weekend hikes. Camp Roberts is a California National Guard post in central California, located on both sides of the Salinas River in Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties, now run by the California Army National Guard. It was opened in 1941 and is named after Corporal Harold W. Roberts, a World War I Medal of Honor recipient. Nearby communities include San Miguel, Heritage Ranch, Oak Shores, and Bradley, all unincorporated. The nearest incorporated city is Paso Robles. Camp Roberts is roughly 25 miles southeast of Fort Hunter Liggett.

Pleasant Flat is a former settlement and mining camp in El Dorado County, California. It was located on the north bank of the South Fork of the American River 1 mile (1.6 km) upstream from Coloma.
Pleasant Lake extends through southern Otisfield into northern Casco, Maine. The lake shoreline is heavily developed with residences and seasonal cabins. The southern end of the lake overflows as Mill Brook through the village of Casco, and reaches the Crooked River 3 miles (4.8 km) to the southwest. The lake supports a thriving population of white perch with some smallmouth bass and chain pickerel; and has been stocked with brown trout, lake trout, and land-locked Atlantic salmon. A boat launch area is available at the southern end of the lake.
The 1916 Central Michigan Normalites football team represented Central Michigan Normal School, later renamed Central Michigan University, as an independent during the 1916 college football season. In their first and only season under head coach Blake Miller, the Central Michigan football team compiled a 1–5 record and were outscored by their opponents by a combined total of 139 to 39. The team played only three intercollegiate games, losing twice to Alma College and once to the Michigan Agricultural frosh team (0–14). The team's only victory was by a 39–0 score against West Branch High School.
Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1,142 acres (462 ha) wildlife sanctuary located in Lenox, Massachusetts that is owned by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. There are 7 miles of trails and a large pond on Yokun Brook. One trail hikes to the summit of Lenox Mountain.
