Transport in Ukraine includes ground transportation, water, air transportation, and pipelines. The transportation sector accounts for roughly 11% of the country's gross domestic product and 7% of total employment.
The Port of Odesa or Odesa Sea Port, located near Odesa, is the largest Ukrainian seaport and one of the largest ports in the Black Sea basin, with a total annual traffic capacity of 40 million tonnes, the only port of Ukraine capable of accepting Panamax class vessels. The port has an immediate access to railways allowing quick transfer of cargo from sea routes to ground transportation. Along with its younger satellite ports of Chornomorsk (1958) and Yuzhne (1973), the Port of Odesa is a major freight and passenger transportation hub of Ukraine.
Port of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky is a port in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky, Ukraine. It is located on the north-western shore of Black Sea at Dniester Estuary, to the south-west from Odesa.
Novorossiysk Sea Port is one of the largest ports in the Black Sea basin and the largest in Krasnodar Krai. At 8.3 km, the NSP berthing line is the longest among all the ports of Russia. The port is located on the Northeast coast of the Black Sea, in the Tsemes Bay. The bay is ice-free and open for navigation all year round. However, in winter the navigation occasionally stops due to the hazardous northeastern bora wind. The Tsemes Bay allows deep-draft vessels up to 19 m, and the inner harbour up to 12.5 m. The liquid bulk terminals depth range from 8.4 to 15.6 m, suitable for tankers with a deadweight of up to 250,000 tons, like Suezmax-class vessels.
Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company is a Ukrainian shipping company that specializes in water transportation along the Danube and Black Sea.
TransInvestService (TIS) is a large Ukrainian private terminal operator and stevedore operating in the Pivdennyi Port. In 2018, the company's cargo turnover reached 25.7 million tons. TIS operates its own cargo terminals in Small Adzhalyk Estuary, which is in the Pivdennyi Port water area 22 km north-east of Odesa. TIS Group owns five modern terminals: TIS Grain, TIS Mineral Fertilizers, TIS Ore, TIS Coal and TIS Container Terminal. TransInvestService owns and manages all service infrastructure facilities, including an in-house railway station.

Izmail Sea Commercial Port, a state-owned enterprise in the field of maritime transport, is a multidisciplinary port located in the waters of the Kiliia River estuary of the Danube. It reports to the Ministry of Infrastructure (Ukraine). It is an important transport hub of Ukraine. According to the Law of Ukraine "On Seaports of Ukraine," the functions of the seaport administration are performed by the Izmail branch of the state enterprise of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (AMPU). The number of employees at Port of Izmail as of 2009 was 2,520 people.
The Ust-Danube Seaport is a state-owned enterprise of the Ukrainian transport system, located in the southern part of the Zhebriyansʹka Bay of the Black Sea and at the mouth of the Ochakiv estuary of the Danube Delta. The port administration is located in Vylkove, Odesa Oblast. According to the Law of Ukraine "On Seaports of Ukraine," the functions of the seaport administration are performed by the Ust-Danube branch of the state enterprise of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
The Reni Seaport is a port located on the left bank of the Danube. It is an important transport hub of Ukraine, where the work of river, sea, road, and rail transport is closely intertwined. Navigation takes place throughout the year. The maximum depth near the berths is 3.5–12 m, which allows you to handle any type of cargo. According to the Law of Ukraine "On Seaports of Ukraine," the functions of the seaport administration are performed by the Rhine branch of the state enterprise of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority. The Reni port has been damaged as a result of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Yalta Sea Commercial Port is a commercial seaport in the city of Yalta, Ukraine, on the Black Sea coast of Crimea. The port is originally subordinated to the Black Sea Shipping Company, now Ukrmorrichflot. Yalta sea trade port carries out transportation and processing of cargoes, and serves passengers in sailing abroad and in small cabotage.
Port Ochakiv is a seaport that is located in the Ochakiv Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine. In 2008-2011, the port built a berth wall 140 meters long, as well as a grain processing complex and warehouse, which allows for the accumulation of shipments of grain cargo.

The river port is located on the Dnieper in the city of Dnipro and specializes in processing a wide range of goods - grain, scrap metal, rolled metal, sand, gravel, feldspar, lumber, equipment, packaging in bulk and on pallets. The port's cargo processing capacity is 10 million tons per year. The number of employees is 520 people. The port area includes two cargo areas and 13 berths with a total length of 2250 meters.
Zaporizhzhia River Port specializes in the processing of ore, coke, coal, scrap metal, hardware, fertilizers, clay, sand, ferroalloys, and bauxite. The port's cargo processing capacity is 6 million tons per year. Zaporizhzhia River Port accepts vessels of the river-sea type with a length of up to 180 m and a depth of up to 4 m. The port area is 39.7 hectares and includes 13 cargo berths with a total length of 2787.7 m, including two berths in the Port of Nikopol.
Nikopol River Port is an enterprise in the field of river transport. It is located on the Dnieper in Nikopol. The nearest ports are Zaporizhzhia River Port - 84 km up the Dnieper and Novokakhovka River Port which is 110 km down the Dnieper. Ever since the 19th century there was a pier in Nikopol. The Nikopol River Port was built in 1956 on the shores of the Kakhovka Reservoir. Since 1974, the Nikopol River Port has been a part of the Zaporizhzhia River Port. NRP specializes in freight and passenger transportation (ferrys) on the line "Nikopol" - "Kamyanka-Dniprovska." Bulk and general cargoes, generally, building materials are also processed here. The port is located 310 kilometers from the mouth of the Dnieper. Berths accept vessels such as "river-sea" variety.
Rzhyshchiv River Port also called Rzhyshchivsky Port is a port enterprise on the Dnieper River, and is located in the city of regional importance Rzhyshchiv. There is a coffee shop that was formerly a station building. Rzhyshchiv has always been considered one of the most important Dnieper ports, and by the middle of the 19th century the cargo turnover here was higher than in the Kyiv River Port and was second only to Dnipropetrovsk River Port. The river station here is typical of the 70s, but rare for small towns. The cargo port has cranes, handles sand, building materials, and so on.
Kremenchuk River Port also called Kremenchug River Port is a port located on the Dnipro in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava Oblast, Ukraine. The Port of Kremenchuk has seven piers, as well as river stations in Kremenchuk, Svitlovodsk, and Horishni Plavni.

It is located on the left bank of the Dnieper, 60 km northeast of Kherson with access to the Black Sea and further into the Mediterranean Sea, which allows trade with different countries of different continents, all year round. The city has a good transport interchange in the form of the Odesa railway, as well as highways. Thus, the port city is connected with all regions of Ukraine, near, and far abroad.
