Premiumization is a business strategy which promotes more expensive premium products. [1]

It has been observed in numerous products and services including razors and paper towels, [2] alcoholic beverages, [3] beauty products, [4] orange juice, [5] tomato sauce, [6] social media, [7] and airfare. [8]

The drink is superficially related to orange juice, but also resembles a soft drink without carbonation.

Capri-Sun is a brand of juice concentrate–based drinks manufactured by the German company Wild and regional licensees. Rudolf Wild invented the drink in 1969 and introduced it in West Germany as Capri-Sonne. It is now sold in over 100 countries, with licensees including Kraft Foods in the United States and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners in parts of Europe. Some mixers change the texture or consistency of the drink, making it thicker or more watery. Drink mixers may also be used strictly for decorative purposes by changing the color or appearance of the drink. They also simply increase the volume of a drink, to make it last longer.

Juice is commonly consumed as a beverage or used as an ingredient or flavoring in foods or other beverages, such as smoothies. Juice emerged as a popular beverage choice after the development of pasteurization methods enabled its preservation without using fermentation. The largest fruit juice consumers are New Zealand and Colombia. Fruit juice consumption on average increases with a country's income level.

Tymbark SA, is a Polish fruit- juice beverage company. Its products are mainly available in all of 16 Polish voivodeships as well as in most of Germany. Tymbark is also a fruit and vegetable processing plant. Tymbark is a major producer of fruit and vegetable juices as well as jams, marmalades and fruit wines. In 1999, the company became part of Grupa Maspex Wadowice. The Tymbark brand was listed as Poland's 15th most popular brand in a survey by Wprost magazine. It is known as Topjoy in Hungary or Relax in Czechia and Slovakia.

Agros Nova is a company in Poland specializing in juices, processed fruit and vegetable products. Brands include Łowicz, Fortuna (company), Fortuna Karotka, Krakus, Tarczyn and Kotlin. Agros Nova Sp. z o.o. was founded in 2000 and is based in Warsaw after being spun off from Agros Holding S.A., a Joint Stock Company founded in 1990.

DeeDo is a Thai fruit juice brand. It is the primary product of Foodstar, a Nakhon Pathom-based company that also makes food and beverage products. It diversified beyond DeeDo fruit juices through its Mikku yogurt brand as well as by selling herbal teas, ice pops, and jelly. Foodstar's original products occupied the economy and super-economy segments of the fruit juice market. The company in 2021 released DeeDo Max C, a more premium product that contains double the amount of orange juice of the original product. Its products in 2023 could be purchased in 20 countries.
