Punjab Kesari is a Hindi-language newspaper published from many centres in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi in India. It is owned by the Punjab Kesari group (The Hindsamachar Ltd.). It is one of the four newspapers started by the group; the other three are Hind Samachar in Urdu, Jagbani in Punjabi languages and Navodaya Times in Hindi languages from Delhi NCR.

The newspaper was established by Lala Jagat Narain and later on his elder son Romesh Chander took over the reins. However, during the days of terrorism in Punjab, both were assassinated, in 1981 and 1984 respectively. [2]
The management also established Shaheed Parivar Fund (martyrs' welfare fund) to provide help to the affected families. [3]

Digital Portals: publish news on their respective websites from two different places in India, i.e., Delhi on PunjabKesari.com and Jalandhar on PunjabKesari.in. [6] As per Alexa, a web traffic data and analytics, Jalandhar group's website PunjabKesari.in is ranked 523 [7] in India and Delhi group's website PunjabKesari.com is ranked 9425 [8] in India on 17 March 2018.

Bollywood Kesari: Delhi group launched a Bollywood niche website under the brand name Bollywood Kesari. [9]

Cricket Kesari: Delhi group launched a Cricket niche website recently under the brand name Cricket Kesari [10] and Its Facebook page has over 121k likes. [11] sports Punjab kesari site is: sports.punjabkesari.in

Shayari: Delhi group also launched a Shayari specific Facebook page named Shayari [12]

Hind Samachar is a daily Urdu newspaper that is circulated in Mumbai. It was one of the three newspaper started by the Punjab Kesari Group back in 1948. Combined these three newspapers have combined circulation of 975,000 copies on weekdays and 1.05 million copies on weekends. The head office is located in Civil Lines in Mumbai, and the newspaper is printed from Jalandhar, Ambala, and Jammu.

Shekhar Gurera, also known as Chander Shekhar Gurera, is an Indian editorial cartoonist, illustrator, and graphic designer. He publishes regular cartoons with comments about India's political and social trends. His daily pocket cartoons appear in several English, Hindi, and regional language daily newspapers Punjab Kesari, Hind Samachar, Jag Bani, Nava Bharat, Central ChronicleThe Pioneer, Sanmarg and Navodaya Times among others. He started his cartoon career in 1984 as a freelancer.

Ashwini Kumar Chopra, was a senior journalist and resident editor of the Punjab Kesari, in Delhi. He got elected to 16th Lok Sabha from Karnal as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and was the eldest son of the third generation from the journalists' family who own the Hindsamachar group of newspapers. During the days of terrorism in Punjab, his grandfather Lala Jagat Narain and father Romesh Chander were assassinated in 1981 and 1984 respectively. In their collective bid to curb terrorism through a drive by the journalists and activists, Punjab Kesari is commonly called the newspaper of martyr journalists.

Kesari (transl. Saffron) is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language war film written and directed by Anurag Singh. It was jointly produced by Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Sunir Khetarpal under the banners of Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Azure Entertainment, and Zee Studios.
