Jelena Rozga is a Croatian pop, folk, and electropop singer. Born and raised in Split, Croatia, Rozga was a ballet dancer as a child. She rose to fame in 1996, when she became the lead singer of Magazin, a pop band famous in Croatia. She served as the band's lead singer until 2006, releasing a total of five studio albums. During the ten years, the band released numerous commercially and critically successful singles including "Ginem", "Minut' srca tvog" and "Minus i plus" among others.

Cukrov represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, alongside Andrea Šušnjara, with the song "Lijepa Tena", written by Tonči Huljić. The song qualified to the final from the second semi-final as the jury's selected qualifier. It eventually finished in the 18th place with 45 points.

Krajem vijeka is the twelfth studio album by Croatian pop singer Doris Dragović, released in 1999. The album was released by Croatia Records, Orfej and Tonika record labels, and produced by eminent Croatian music producer and songwriter Tonči Huljić. Huljić also wrote the most of the album's songs. Krajem vijeka also featured the song "Marija Magdalena", with which Dragović won the fourth place at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999.

Croatian Rhapsody is a 2015 album by the Croatian pianist, Maksim Mrvica. The title track, "Croatian Rhapsody", was included in his 2003 album, The Piano Player, and his 2008 album, Greatest Maksim. It was composed by the Croatian musician and songwriter Tonči Huljić and is one of Maksim's greatest hits.

Lorena Bućan, known professionally as simply Lorena, is a Croatian singer. Bućan rose to fame in 2018 after finishing third on the second season of Zvijezde. She has signed a contract with record label Tonika Records where she primarily collaborates with musician Tonči Huljić. She has released several successful singles with the label, including "Tower of Babylon", which also served as the Croatia's entry for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, "Tihi ocean", "Tvoja i gotovo" and "Kad si ti u pitanju" among others.

Vjekoslava Huljić is a Croatian lyricist, songwriter, novelist and writer. Born in Duvno and raised in Split, Huljić emerged as a successful lyricist with several hits of the Croatian group Magazin. She is considered to be one of the most productive and successful Croatian writers and lyricists and is most widely known for her collaborations with her husband and musician Tonči Huljić.

"Moderna Žena" is a song by Croatian pop singer Jelena Rozga from her eponymous third studio album (2016). It was released as the album's second single on 16 December 2016. The song was written by Vjekoslava Huljić and produced by Tonči Huljić. The inspiration behind the song was a real-life case of a woman's experience with a lover which Tonči Huljić read in a magazine and recounted it to his wife. Lyrically, "Moderna Žena" was described as a female anthem and was dedicated to strong women living in the modern world.
