Purkhouti Muktangan, Naya Raipur is a 24.2-hectare (60-acre) cultural and sculpture garden in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. Established in 2006, it was inaugurated by the former President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. It gives a glimpse of Chhattisgarh's rich culture. This place displays the habitat, artefacts, folk dances, food habits of the tribal of the State. It also gives an insight into the crafts and arts of tribal of Chhattisgarh. It has a blissful garden houses the life-like figures of tribal performance, different folk arts that provide a wonderful perspective on the vibrant treasures of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Punaram Nishad, born in Ringni, Dist Durg Chhattisgarh,(16 November 1939 - 11 November 2017) was an Indian folk musician, known for his prowess in the Pandavani, a folk music tradition of Chhattisgarh and the neighbouring states in India. Born in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, to a Bhajan singer, he started learning the art from the age of 10 under Jhadu Ram Dewangan, considered by many as the father of Pandvani, and aligned with the Vedamati tradition of Pandavani, which follows a rigid text, and does not permit improvisations.

The Raipur–Naya Raipur Expressway, also known as Atal Path Expressway, is an access-controlled, six-lane, 12.7-kilometre (7.9 mi) expressway connecting Raipur to Naya Raipur in the state of Chhattisgarh in India. It has been made to ease the traffic in the GE road, or NH-53, and provide faster access to Dhamtari road from Raipur Junction Railway Station. It serves 4 flyovers and 1 elevated corridor crossing over the GE road in between two ends of expressway.

Ghadi Chowk Raipur also known as "Guru Ghasidas Time Square" is a clock tower located in the heart of Raipur city of Chhattisgarh, India. Constructed in 1995 and the structure was inaugurated on 19 December 1995. This place is considered an important landmark in Raipur and has become iconic symbol of Raipur. A six-foot diameter mechanical clock was installed around its pillar, about 50 feet high, made of concrete. After every hour in the clock, the bell in its turret used to ring. To popularize the folk tunes of Chhattisgarh. Raipur Development Authority decided to combine the folk tunes of Chhattisgarh before the sound of the bell ringing after every hour in Nagarghari so that the common man can also become familiar with the folk tunes of Chhattisgarh.
