Purwakarta Regency is a landlocked regency (kabupaten) of West Java, Indonesia. The town of Purwakarta is its regency seat.

The land area of the Regency is 971.72 km2, and it had a population of 852,521 in the 2010 Census [2] and 997,869 in the 2020 Census, [3] while the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 1,028,569 [1] for a density of 1,040.9 people per km2. [4] The west of the regency includes the huge reservoir of the Waduk Jatiluhur, west of Purwakarta town and 70 km from Jakarta, created by the Jatiluhur Dam on the Tarum River.

The Purwakarta Regency is divided into seventeen districts (kecamatan), listed below with their areas and their populations at the 2010 Census [2] and 2020 Census, [3] together with the official estimates as at mid 2022. Harmoni Award 2016

The Ministry of Religion has awarded a Harmoni Award in 2016 to Purwakarta Regency for religion tolerance in this area. It is one of the only ten such awards across Indonesia. West Java Province is categorized by the Setara Institute as the best for tolerance in Indonesia, although West Java Province itself has not received an award. [5]

It includes the substantial island of Moyo, lying off the north coast of Sumbawa. East Flores Regency is a regency in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. Established in 1958, the regency has its seat (capital) in Larantuka on Flores Island. It covers a land area of 1,812.85 km2, and it had a population of 232,605 as of the 2010 census and 276,896 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 288,897. The regency encompasses the eastern tip of the island of Flores, together with all of the adjacent islands of Adonara and Solor to the east of Flores, with some much smaller offshore islands. On 4 October 1999 the island of Lembata at the eastern end of the Solor Archipelago was separated out from the East Flores Regency to create its own Regency.

It covers an area of 1,839.94 sq. km, and had a population of 1,118,464 at the 2010 Census and 1,198,012 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 1,209,543. The administrative centre is the coastal town of Tuban. The regency is located in a strategic area, on the border of East Java with Central Java, passed by the main highway along the north coast of Java (Pantura). In ancient times, Tuban was the main port of Majapahit and was a center of Islamic spreading by Walisongo.

Pasuruan Regency is a regency in East Java, province of Indonesia. The capital of this regency is Bangil. The regency covers an area of 1,474.02 km2, and it had a population of 1,512,468 at the 2010 Census and 1,605,969 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 1,619,035. These figures excludes the population of the city of Pasuruan, which lies geographically within this regency but is administratively separate from it. At present, there are moves under way to make Bangil the new administrative centre of Pasuruan Regency, with some offices being transferred from Pasuruan city to Bangil.
