Port of Qinhuangdao is a seaport on the Bohai Sea, located in the Haigang District of urban Qinhuangdao, Hebei, People's Republic of China.
Together with the Port of Huanghua, Qinhuangdao Port is a major port for coal transportation. [1]
Qinhuangdao is the nation's coal shipping center which is also seen as a barometer of the economy. The daily transport capacity was at least 50 vessels per day in the past. [2]

Fuchengmen was a gate on the western side of Beijing's city wall. The gate was torn down in the 1960s, and has been replaced by the Fuchengmen overpass on the 2nd Ring Road. Fuchengmen Station is a transportation node, where a number of public buses and Line 2 of the Beijing Subway stop. The street that once passed through the gate is still named in its relation to the gate. East of Fuchengmen, it is known as Fuchengmen Inner Street because it would have been inside the wall. West of Fuchengmen, it is known as Fuchengmen Outer Street. Further west, the street becomes Fushi Road.

Operation Beleaguer was the codename for the United States Marine Corps’ occupation of northeastern China’s Hebei and Shandong provinces from 1945 until 1949. The Marines were tasked with overseeing the repatriation of more than 600,000 Japanese and Koreans that remained in China at the end of World War II. During the four-year occupation, American forces engaged in several skirmishes with the People's Liberation Army while successfully evacuating thousands of foreign nationals. The United States Government attempted to mediate a peace treaty between the opposing Nationalist and Communist factions but was unsuccessful. The Marines departed Northern China in June 1949 a few months before the communists won victory in the Chinese Civil War and took control of mainland China.

The Port of Huanghua, also known as the Port of Cangzhou Huanghua is an artificial deep-water international seaport on the coast of Huanghua, Cangzhou Prefecture, Hebei, People's Republic of China. It is located on the south side of the Bohai Bay, 90 km from Cangzhou city. Huanghua port is one of the largest and fastest growing ports in North China, with a throughput of 171.03 million tons of total cargo in 2013, an increase of 35.42% year on year.
