Rajendra Waman Najardhane is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Umarkhed Assembly Constituency. He belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). [1] He had unsuccessfully contested the 2009 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections on the BJP ticket but lost to Vijay Khadse of the Indian National Congress. [2] His victory was amongst the five seats won by the BJP, that resulted in the Indian National Congress (INC) not being able to win a single seat in Yavatmal district once its stronghold. [3]

Sanjay Dulichand Rathod is a Shiv Sena politician from Yavatmal district, Maharashtra. He is a member of the 14th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Digras Assembly Constituency. He was appointed Maharashtra's minister of state in December, 2014 he was given the revenue portfolio. He was also given responsibility of being guardian minister of Yavatmal district. His election in the 2014 election made him a three term Member of Legislative Assembly. He was at the time of his appointment as minister, Shiv Sena's Yavatmal district president.He was made a cabinet minister on 30 December 2019 Rathod belongs to the Banjara community. He is also a guardian minister of Buldhana district which is located in the Amravati division of Maharashtra India

2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election Assembly election in Maharashtra

The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 21 October 2019 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. After a 61.4% turnout in the election, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (SHS) won a majority. Following differences over the government formation, the alliance was dissolved, precipitating a political crisis. Since a council of ministers had not been formed after no party could manage to form the government, President's rule had been imposed in the state.
