Shikoku is one of the five main islands of Japan. Shikoku is the second smallest main island after Okinawa. It is 225 km or 139.8 mi long and between 50 and 150 km or 31.1 and 93.2 mi wide. It has a population of 3.8 million. It is located south of Honshu and north east of Kyushu. Shikoku's ancient names include Iyo-no-futana-shima (伊予之二名島), Iyo-shima (伊予島), and Futana-shima (二名島), and its current name refers to the four former provinces that made up the island: Awa, Tosa, Sanuki, and Iyo.

Vypin or Vypeen is one of the group of islands that form part of the city of Kochi, in the South Indian state of Kerala. Vypin is one of the densely populated islands in Asia. Maradu is a municipality in the district of Ernakulam in Kerala, India. It is located at about 7 km (4.3 mi) from the city center. It was formed in May 1953 as a Grama Panchayath and was upgraded to the level of municipality in November 2010. National highways NH 85, NH 966 B and NH 66 passes through Maradu and has played a vital role in the development of the area. Maradu is well connected by waterways as well.
The Kochi Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. It was opened to the public within four years of starting construction, making it the fastest completed metro project in India until the Lucknow Metro overtook it. The Kochi metro project is the first metro in the country which connects rail, road and water transport facilities. The first phase is being set up at an estimated cost of ₹51.81 billion (US$750 million). On October 2017, Kochi Metro was named the Best Urban Mobility Project in India by the Urban Development Ministry, as part of the Urban Mobility India (UMI) international conference hosted by the ministry every year.

The road lies north-south with its boundaries at the Venduruthy bridge, Thevara in the south, and the Madhava Pharmacy Junction in the north, where it intersects the Banerji Road. The road was earlier part of the NH 47A and was later handed over to Kochi Municipal Corporation. The highway was earlier known as Seventy Feet road. The total distance of the road is 4 kilometres (2.5 mi).

Located at Vytilla, the busiest and one of the largest intersections in Kerala, the mall has a total floor space of 5,00,000 sq ft spread over five floors designed by designing firm WS Atkins. The mall opened on March 2011 with over 200 national and international brands when it was the largest mall in the state of Kerala. The property is owned and managed by Gold Souk group famous for establishing malls in other prominent cities across the country.
