Gunther Alexander Schuller was an American composer, conductor, horn player, author, historian educator, publisher, and jazz musician.
Gerard Schwarz, also known as Gerry Schwarz or Jerry Schwarz, is an American symphony conductor and trumpeter. As of 2019, Schwarz serves as the Artistic and Music Director of Palm Beach Symphony and the Director of Orchestral Activities and Music Director of the Frost Symphony Orchestra at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
Radovan Vlatković is a Croatian born horn player. He was the former principal horn of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra. He left that post in 1990 to devote himself to a solo career and has recorded many of the major works for horn. He is now professor of horn at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid. Vlatković also participates as a senior artist at the Marlboro Music Festival, has performed in chamber music and solo recital for the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, and is widely considered to be one of the world's most exceptional horn players.

Stephen "Steve" Rucker is an American musician and drummer who served as the drummer with many artists. His biggest and well known act was the Bee Gees. With the Bee Gees band, he appeared on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and a Royal Variety Performance. He was the Director of Orchestral Activities and Conductor of the University of Miami Frost Symphony Orchestra until his retirement in 2018. He was also the director of the Florida Youth Orchestra from 1993 to 2020.
Dale Clevenger was the Principal Horn of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1966 until his retirement in June, 2013. Before joining the CSO, he was a member of Leopold Stokowski's American Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony of the Air directed by Alfred Wallenstein. William Franklin Lee III, aka Bill Lee was an American jazz pianist, composer, arranger, author, and music educator who was renowned for pioneering comprehensive music education, including jazz, at the collegiate level. He led the University of Miami School of Music and was Miami's third music dean from 1964 to 1982. In 1989 he retired from the university, but he continued to work in music education at other institutions. He was distinguished professor emeritus of music theory and composition and emeritus composer in residence. Lee was vice-president and provost at the University of Miami and president and executive director of IAJE.

He has played with Woody Herman, Frank Sinatra, and Jaco Pastorius, among many over a career spanning more than two decades. He appears on numerous recordings. He has performed in the pit of Broadway orchestras and for television shows.
Scott Routenberg is an American composer, jazz pianist, arranger and orchestrator. Currently teaching music at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, he has published both full-length compositions for jazz ensembles and several studio albums. Both his 2003 and 2006 independent releases "explore jazz-influenced electro-acoustic hybrids." He has won a number of songwriting contests, including the John Lennon Songwriting Contest Maxell Song of the Year in 2004 for his song "Bandwidth", which also won the JLSC's Grand Prize in the Jazz Category.
John Daversa is an American jazz trumpeter, electronic valve instrument (EVI) player, composer, arranger, big band leader, and educator. He is the son of Jay Daversa, trumpeter for Stan Kenton and Los Angeles studio musician. He was born in Los Angeles and moved to Ada, Oklahoma at age 7.
