The Rides

The Rides are an American blues supergroup, featuring guitarists Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and keyboardist Barry Goldberg. The group formed in 2013 following a performance by the trio at a benefit led by Stills. Stills called the band “the blues band of my dreams”. The band toured in support of their debut album Can't Get Enough in the fall of 2013 backed by bassist Kevin McCormick and Shepherd’s longtime drummer Chris Layton. Their second album Pierced Arrow followed in 2016, it peaked at number one in the Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart.

Rides is a British television series produced by the BBC between 1992 and 1993. It lasted two series of six episodes each and was made by Warner Sisters, a UK-based television production company based in Ealing.

Rides is an automotive reality TV show produced for the TLC Network. The show's host is automobile enthusiast and amateur racer Jason Priestley. Rides debuted in the Summer of 2004 and became TLC's highest-rated series of the year.

Ride (band) British shoegazing band

Ride are an English rock band formed in Oxford in 1988. The band consists of Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Laurence "Loz" Colbert, and Steve Queralt. The band were initially part of the "shoegazing" scene that emerged in England during the early 1990s. Following the break-up of the band in 1996, members moved on to various other projects, most notably Bell who became the bassist for Oasis. In 2001, the band briefly reunited for a one-off performance for a television show. Ride announced their second reunion in November 2014. Their debut album Nowhere has been named one of the important albums of the shoegazing genre.

Scouting for Girls are an English pop rock band. Their name is a play on the title of the 1908 Scouting handbook Scouting for Boys. The band consists of childhood friends from London, Roy Stride on piano and lead guitar/vocals, Greg Churchouse on bass guitar and Peter Ellard on percussion. Having formed in 2005, they signed to Epic Records in 2007. They released their self-titled debut album that September and it reached #1 on the UK Albums Chart in 2008. To date, it has sold over 1,000,000 copies in the UK.. Following the departure of their former drummer Pete Ellard, drummer James Rowlands took over in 2018.
