Robert Baldwin (born September 27, 1965) is a Canadian-Japanese actor born in Eba, Naka-ku, Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, [1]

Baldwin has appeared in many Japanese films, television series, advertisements, and music videos, and also works in Japan as a translator, narrator, and copywriter.

Biography

In 2005, he appeared in Chousei Kantai Sazer-X in the recurring role of Gordo, assistant to one of the heroes; in an interview with Tokusatsu Newtype , Baldwin stated that he was likely to appear in the fourth entry of the Chouseishin Series, unaware that it would not be continued following Sazer-X. [2]

In 2013, Baldwin appeared in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger as Ramirez, a former member of the heroes from ancient times. [3] He said he was interested in playing the same role in the Power Rangers counterpart. [4] However, the New Zealand-shot series did not cast him.

The ChouSeiShin Series is a tokusatsu superhero TV franchise which debuted in Japan from 2003 through 2006. The Chouseishin Series was produced by Toho Company, Ltd., in association with Konami, to emulate and partner the success of Toei's Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series.

Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger is the Toei Company's 37th entry in its long-running Super Sentai metaseries of Japanese tokusatsu television series aired on TV Asahi from 17 February 2013 to 9 February 2014, replacing Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters and was replaced by Ressha Sentai ToQger. The program joining Kamen Rider Wizard and later Kamen Rider Gaim in TV Asahi's Super Hero Time programming block. Chousei Kantai Sazer-X the Movie: Fight! Star Warriors, also known as Sazer-X the Movie in English, is a 2005 tokusatsu superhero film by Toho Company Ltd. The film is based on all the warriors of the Chouseishin Series. It is directed by Kazuki Omori, known abroad for his contributions to the Godzilla series. Sazer-X the Movie was released on December 17, 2005, with a duration of 70 minutes. The DVD was released on May 26, 2006.

<i>Power Rangers Dino Force Brave</i> 2017 South Korean tokusatsu television mini-series

Power Rangers Dino Force Brave is a 2017 South Korean tokusatsu television show produced by Daewon Media, the same company which distributes the Super Sentai Series in South Korea under the "Power Rangers" label despite being unrelated to Saban Brands. It serves as a sequel to the 2013 Super Sentai Series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. Toei Company, the owner of the Super Sentai franchise, collaborated in the filming. Kyoryuger director Koichi Sakamoto returned to direct the series. The show began its broadcast in South Korea on April 1 with two episodes a week for the first two weeks before moving to one episode a week starting April 15. The majority of the main cast is composed of K-pop artists.
