Rogelio Borja Flores (1935 – September 8, 2009) was a Filipino sports writer.
Flores went to the University of Santo Tomas studying philosophy and letters but failed to complete the course, he turned to sports writing shortly after leaving university.
The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, The Catholic University of the Philippines, or simply the University of Santo Tomas (UST), is a private, Roman Catholic research university in Manila, Philippines. Founded on April 28, 1611 by Miguel de Benavides, Archbishop of Manila, it has the oldest extant university charter in the Philippines and in Asia, and is one of the world's largest Catholic universities in terms of enrollment found on one campus. The Thrilla in Manila was the third and final boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. It was contested in 1975 for the heavyweight championship of the world at the Philippine Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines, on Wednesday, October 1. The venue was renamed from Araneta Coliseum, specifically for the match. Ali won by technical knockout (TKO) after Frazier's chief second, Eddie Futch, conceded the fight prior to the 15th round. The contest's name is derived from Ali's rhyming boast that the fight would be “a killa and a thrilla and a chilla, when I get that gorilla in Manila."

As well as work for the Times Journal, Flores also worked for the Evening News, Philippine Sun, The Tribune, Philippine Post and the Manila Times . He last job was as a golf sportswriter and columnist for the Manila Standard-Today .
