RuPaul's Celebrity Drag Race is a four-episode makeover/reality competition spin-off of RuPaul's Drag Race , slated to premiere on April 24, 2020 on VH1. [1] [2] [3] Twelve celebrities will be made-over and mentored by former contestants of the series to win the title as well as funds for a charity. [4]

Format

In each episode, three celebrities will undergo a drag transformation, mentored by Drag Race alumni, and will take part in segments traditional to the series’ history competing to be the first celebrity drag superstar, and win a cash prize for their chosen charity.

The episode has contestants deliver Rachel Maddow impressions for the mini challenge, and perform a musical parody of Grease about Donald Trump and the women in his life and cabinet for the main challenge. The musical features choreography by Yanis Marshall, and sees Donald Trump portrayed by former contestant Ginger Minj. Snatch Game is a challenge held each season of the American reality competition television series RuPaul's Drag Race, as well as its all-star and spin-off series RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, Drag Race Thailand, and RuPaul's Drag Race UK. The challenge is a parody of the game show Match Game, except in season four of All Stars, when the format was changed to parody the game show The Dating Game. The challenge tests the contestants' skills at celebrity impersonation and improvisational comedy. It is normally staged approximately halfway through the season, although the number of contestants still in the race at the time of a Snatch Game challenge may vary from season to season.
