Saar is a series of Indian Kannada-language comedy film series. The series is directed by Rajendra Singh Babu. [1] The film's title is based on a famous poem on herd mentality written by acclaimed poet K. S. Nissar Ahmed. [2]

Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu

Rummi, Nani and Moni are inmates who wants to remain in jail permanently. A kind hearted Jailor gets them released on basis of good behavior and wants them to lead a good life. A auto driver allot them to house without any rent but with one condition. One of them should his middle aged unmarried elder sister Rukmini who is devotee of Lord Krishna. On the night Rukmini assumes Nani is tha avatar of Krishna and forced him to marriage and threatened. Trio escapes from marriage by wearing "Trimoorty" dress, while escaping enter bank unknowingly and got bags of money intended for other robbers. They saw and save the Jailor daughter from committing suicide and decide to help her. Undercover police inspector joined them to find truth about bank robbers.

B. C. Gowrishankar was an Indian cinematographer and an occasional film director and screenwriter who worked primarily in Kannada cinema. He was known for his unorthodox style as a cinematographer and was recognised for his work in both art and commercial films. Gowrishankar won six Karnataka State Film Awards during his career as a cinematographer. In 1988 he directed the fairly successful Elu Suttina Kote with Ambarish, Gautami and a young Ramesh Aravind.

Nani is an Indian actor, producer and television presenter who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and appears in a few Tamil language films. He made his acting debut with Mohana Krishna Indraganti's 2008 comedy film Ashta Chamma, an Indian adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play The Importance of Being Earnest. After Ashta Chamma's commercial success, Nani played the lead roles in three Telugu films in the next two years: Ride (2009), Snehituda... (2009) and Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu (2010). Pailwaan (transl. Wrestler) is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language sports-masala film written and directed by S. Krishna. The film is produced by Swapna Krishna under the banner RRR Motion Pictures and bankrolled by Zee Studios. It stars Sudeepa, Sunil Shetty and Aakanksha Singh in the lead roles, while Kabir Duhan Singh, Sushant Singh, Avinash, and Sharath Lohitashwa play supporting roles. Pailwan marks Sunil Shetty's debut in Kannada cinema. The score and soundtrack of the film was composed by Arjun Janya. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Nani, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Lakshmi, Saranya Ponvannan, Shriya Reddy and Praanya P. Rao. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. In this film, five women seek the help of a crime novelist to avenge the death of their loved ones.
