The Book of the Courtier is a courtesy book or book of manners which dealt with issues of etiquette, behaviour and morals, particularly at princely, or royal courts. Courtesy literature can be traced back to 13th century German and Italian writers. The Book of the Courtier was written by Baldassare Castiglione over the course of many years, beginning in 1508, and was ultimately published in 1528 by the Aldine Press in Venice just before his death. An English edition was published in 1561.
Città di Castello is a city and comune in the province of Perugia, in the northern part of the Umbria. The term Hystricomorpha has had many definitions throughout its history. In the broadest sense, it refers to any rodent with a hystricomorphous zygomasseteric system. This includes the Hystricognathi, Ctenodactylidae, Anomaluridae, and Pedetidae. Molecular and morphological results suggest the inclusion of the Anomaluridae and Pedetidae in Hystricomorpha may be suspect. Based on Carleton & Musser 2005, these two families are treated here as representing a distinct suborder Anomaluromorpha.

Bertrando Alidosi was an Italian condottiero and the lord of Imola from 1372 until 1391. He was the son of Roberto Alidosi, and succeeded in his signoria to Azzo Alidosi, to whom he had been associated by will of Pope Urban V. In 1365 he had been also made lord of Castel del Rio, Monte del Fine and Castiglione. The two brothers were jailed in Bologna two times by the papal forces, but they were permitted to return soon to Imola. In 1371 he was forced by a rebellion to flee shortly at Avignon with Pope Gregory XI.

Henry A. "Chic" Ciccarone was an American college lacrosse coach. He was the head coach of the lacrosse team at Johns Hopkins University from 1975 to 1983, during which time he amassed a 105–16 record. Ciccarone guided the Blue Jays to three consecutive national championships from 1978 to 1980. He was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1987.

Guy Lorin Reschenthaler is an American politician, attorney, judge, and U.S. Navy veteran who is serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 14th congressional district. Previously, he was a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 37th district. A Republican, he also served as a district judge and in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) during the Iraq War.
A special election for Pennsylvania's 18th congressional district was held on March 13, 2018, following the resignation of Republican Representative Tim Murphy. Murphy, who held the seat since January 3, 2003, declared his intent to resign on October 5, 2017, and vacated his seat on October 21 that year. Democrat Conor Lamb defeated Republican Rick Saccone 49.9% to 49.5%. Saccone conceded the race eight days after the election.
Conor James Lamb is an American attorney, politician, former federal prosecutor and former Marine who currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 17th congressional district since January 2019. The district serves most of the northwestern suburbs of Pittsburgh. A member of the Democratic Party, Lamb was first elected to Congress from the neighboring 18th District in March 2018, in a special election against Republican Rick Saccone that attracted national attention. After Pennsylvania's congressional map was redrawn by court order, Lamb filed to run for a full term in the 17th district in the 2018 general election, which he also won.
