San Andreas: The Original Mixtape is the debut mixtape by American West Coast rapper Young Maylay. It was released on July 5, 2005. [1]

The album features all artists who were affiliated with Young Maylay at the time. It includes King T, Westside Connection member WC, Roscoe, Kaylo, Rodney O, Tugg Boat, Tristate, Da Homie E, Bad Azz, Deadly Threat, Rappin' 4-Tay, 40 Glocc, Speedy and Gangsta Granny.

Sales promotions

It was made for purchase over his official site and it has had numerous sales promotions for it. These included a free autographed youngmaylay.net sticker, at customers request, a signed copy of the CD, and for the first 100 orders, they went into a drawing where 50 winners would receive a personalized MP3 recording of their favorite CJ quote from San Andreas.

Album content

The mixtape was based heavily on the game GTA: San Andreas and the character Maylay portrayed in it, the protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson, using samples from the game, an album cover with a GTA style and the San Andreas Theme Song. The album has a G-Funk style song called "Comen Get Us".

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a 2004 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the fifth main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, following 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and the seventh installment overall. Aaron Tyler, better known by his stage name MC Eiht, is an American rapper and actor. Many of his songs are based on his life in Compton. His stage name was partly inspired by the numeral in KRS-One's name. He chose Eiht for its links to "hood culture", including Olde English 800 and .38 caliber firearms. He is the de facto leader of West Coast hip hop group Compton's Most Wanted, which also included fellow Compton-based rappers Boom Bam, The Unknown DJ, Tha Chill, DJ Mike T, DJ Slip and Ant Capone. He is also known for his role as A-Wax in the 1993 film Menace II Society, as well as playing the character Ryder in the 2004 video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Roger McBride, better known by his stage name King T, is an American West Coast Hip hop rapper from Compton, California. Emerging as one of Compton's earliest hip hop artists, he was signed to Capitol records, where he released his debut album Act a Fool in 1988 with the hit singles "Act a Fool," "Payback's A Mutha," "The Coolest," and "Bass” [Remix], all of which were considered hip-hop classics. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he worked primarily with producer DJ Pooh, and was responsible for the rise of Tha Alkaholiks, whom he helped guide into the rap game. King T is also the CEO of his own record label, King T Inc.

"Hot Coffee" is an unofficial name for a minigame in the 2004 video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The minigame is not playable through normal means; the game must be modded to access it. When enabled, "Hot Coffee" allows players, as protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson, to have animated sexual intercourse with an in-game girlfriend.

Thy Kingdom Come is the fifth studio album by West Coast hip hop artist King T. It was released on August 6, 2002 on Greedy Green Entertainment and Mo Beatz. The album was originally titled The Kingdom Come and was slated for a release on June 30, 1998, on Aftermath Entertainment. The 2002 release contains all of the same tracks as the 1998 version, except 2 tracks. The 1998 version was to be King Tee's first release of new material in three years after allying with Dr. Dre and appearing on his compilation, Dr. Dre Presents the Aftermath. King Tee's album was later put on hold. His shelved album had already been rated three and a half stars out of five by The Source, which was "not good enough" for Dr. Dre, but King Tee maintained a positive relationship with Dr. Dre. He even appeared on Dr. Dre's album, 2001, in 1999. By 2002, The Kingdom Come was released to mixed opinions and was a commercial failure. Tha Blaqprint is the second studio album by American hip hop recording artist Blaq Poet, released June 30, 2009 on DJ Premier's record label Year Round Records via Fat Beats Records. It features guest appearances by the also Year Round Records signed group NYGz and Nick Javas, Capone-N-Noreaga member N.O.R.E., Imani Montana, Lil' Fame from M.O.P., and the late Screwball member KL. The album was entirely produced by DJ Premier, except for two tracks: "U Phucc’d Up", produced by Easy Mo Bee, and "Sichuwayshunz", produced by Gemcrates. Chaine St. Aubin Downer Jr., better known by his stage name CJ Fly, is an American rapper and producer from Brooklyn, New York City. He is a founding member and the oldest member of the hip-hop collective group Pro Era. Throughout 2012 and 2013, he was featured on many of the collective's projects and towards the end of 2013, he released his critically acclaimed mixtape Thee Way Eye See It.

Shawn Darnell Fonteno, also known as Solo, is an American actor and rapper. He is best known for playing Franklin Clinton in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V. He is the older cousin of American rapper Young Maylay, who played Carl "CJ" Johnson, the protagonist in the 2004 video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Fonteno was raised in Watts, Los Angeles.
