Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar (1939 – April 1, 2019) was a Pakistani politician who was a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 1985 to 1988 and from 2002 to 2013. [3] He died on the 1st of April 2019. [4]

The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the province of Punjab, which is located in Lahore, Pakistan. Early life and education

He was born in Barthi, Tribal Area of Dera Ghazi Khan District. He obtained the degree of Masters of Arts in Political Science from University of Karachi in 1964 . He was the tumandar of Baloch tribe Buzdar. [5]

Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as an independent candidate in Pakistani general election, 1985. [3]

He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) (PML-Q) from PP-241 (Dera Ghazi Khan-II) in Pakistani general election, 2002. [6]

The Pakistan Muslim League Urdu: پاکستان مسلم لیگ (ق)‎; Acronyms: PML(Q), PML-Q, PMLQ) is a centre-nationalist political party in Pakistan. As of the 2018 Parliamentary election, it has a representation of 5 seats. It previously served as an ally of former Prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf's then government, and led a joint election campaign in 2013 alongside Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Punjab and Balochistan provinces against its rival Pakistan Muslim League (N), a fiscal conservative and centre-right force.

He was re-elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of PML-Q from PP-241 (Dera Ghazi Khan-II) in Pakistani general election, 2008. [3]
