Savage Mondo Blitzers were a line of miniature collectible toy figures on skateboards produced by Kenner in 1991 and sold in the United States, Italy, Greece, and Argentina. They were about an inch tall. They came in sets of four skaters per pack, each set had a different gang, and each skater his own personality. These figures are very rare and can only be found in the Italian and Greek versions of the toys.
Foreign Versions
In Italy the toys were renamed 'Gli Skatenati.' In Greece; 'Skateboard Mania.' They were blind packaged with one in a pack as opposed to the four-packs seen in the USA. The unreleased figures seen in the 'Brains Not Included' and 'Puke Shooters Gang' packs were available only in these foreign lines.
Although having the same figure molds as the USA line, many of them were painted different colors than their USA counterparts. Gangs and characters were renamed to make more sense within the Greek or Italian language.
One of the Savage Mondo Blitzers toys, Chow Hound, can be seen briefly in The Adventures of Pete & Pete episode "Nightcrawlers".

Keshi aka keshigomu is the Japanese word for eraser. In modern "keshi" refers to a collectible miniature figure, often of a manga or anime character, made of coloured hard rubber. Also, some lines, such as the "Cosmos Souls Keshi Gum", use plastic parts. Skateboard Smack-ups were a controversial series of plastic figures on skateboards produced in 1986 by Playtime Products Inc., a company which was later acquired by Tyco Toys in 1991. In the vein of Garbage Pail Kids and other '80s gross out humor, the 12 figures depicted children on skateboards being violently maimed by everyday skateboarding obstacles. For example, one figure named "Tammy Tailpipe" is impaled through the face by a car's tailpipe. The violence depicted in the figures led to their being banned by mothers and PTAs and even banned within Australia by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission on December 13, 1990.
Sgt. Savage and his Screaming Eagles is a line of military-themed toys produced by Hasbro that was sold in retail between 1994 and 1995. It was intended to be a companion line to G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. Comic book artist Joe Kubert provided the packaging artwork for the toys and also drew the mini-comics included with certain figures. The line was short-lived due to the cancellation of the entire A Real American Hero line in favor of the Kenner-produced G.I. Joe Extreme series.
