Scoop B Radio is an American media network for sports, entertainment and culture. [1]

History

Scoop B Radio originated as a podcast that showcased childhood interviews with former NBA players BJ Armstrong, Scott Burrell, [2] Dikembe Mutombo, and Jayson Williams [3] that were stored in a Timberland box. [4] [5]

The platform expanded to a blog and video platform that amassed 2.1 million impressions according to One37 and as a result partnered with Zenni, [6] NBA 2K, Adidas [7] and the GameTime App to create original programming. [8] [9]

Scoop B Radio became a standalone media network and expanded in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. [10] with interviews with household names such as Pete Sampras, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, [11] Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, DJ Khaled and Mark Cuban [12] being topics of conversation on ESPN, Bleacher Report [13] and Fox News. The acquisition of the company led Take-Two Interactive to open their 2K label which Visual Concepts became part of, on the day following the acquisition. The 2020 NBA All-Star Game was an exhibition basketball game that was played on February 16, 2020, during the National Basketball Association's (NBA) 2019–20 season. It was the 69th edition of the NBA All-Star Game, and was played at the United Center in Chicago, home of the Chicago Bulls. Team LeBron defeated Team Giannis, 157–155. This was the third time that Chicago hosted the All-Star Game. The other two times, in 1973 and 1988, the game was played at Chicago Stadium, the Bulls' previous home arena. The game was televised nationally by TNT for the 18th consecutive year, and simulcast by TBS for the 6th consecutive year. After airing a “Players Only” broadcast a year ago, TBS returned to simulcasting TNT's coverage, after the “Players Only” brand was canceled by the NBA and Turner Sports.

The 2021–22 NBA season was the 76th season of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The regular season began on October 19, 2021, and ended on April 10, 2022. For the first time since the 2018–19 season, the NBA returned to its usual October to April regular season schedule after the previous two seasons were shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 NBA All-Star Game was played at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on February 20, 2022. The play-in tournament was held on April 12–15, 2022. The 2022 NBA playoffs then began on April 16, and ended on June 16 with the Golden State Warriors defeating the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals.
