Sean Whyte is a former professional ice hockey player who briefly played for the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL.

Sean Whyte is a professional Canadian football kicker for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the BC Lions as a territorial exemption in 2007. He played college football for the Santa Monica Corsairs and Canadian Junior College Football for the Big Kahuna Rams. Whyte was traded to the Montreal Alouettes on the 2011 draft day on May 8, 2011 after the Lions drafted punter Hugh O'Neill.

Shaun Roger White is an American professional snowboarder, skateboarder and musician. He is a three-time Olympic gold medalist. He holds the record for the most X-Games gold medals and most Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder, and has won 10 ESPY Awards.

The 2011 Montreal Alouettes season was the 45th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 57th overall. The Alouettes finished in second place in the East Division with a 10–8 record. The Alouettes attempted to three-peat as Grey Cup champions, after winning back-to-back championships in 2009 and 2010, but lost to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the East Semi-Final game. The Alouettes opened their training camp at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke, Quebec on June 5.

The 2012 Montreal Alouettes season was their 46th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 58th overall. The Alouettes finished in 1st place in the East Division with an 11–7 record. However, the Alouettes lost the East Final to the Toronto Argonauts 27–20. The Alouettes opened their training camp at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke, Quebec on June 3.
