The Secaș (also: Secașul Mic) is a left tributary of the river Târnava in Romania. [1] [2] It discharges into the Târnava in Obreja. [3] Its length is 37 km (23 mi) and its basin size is 350 km2 (140 sq mi). [2]

The Târnava is a river in Romania. It is formed by the confluence of the Târnava Mare and Târnava Mică in the town of Blaj. The Târnava flows into the Mureș after 23 km near the town of Teiuș. The two source rivers of the Târnava are the Târnava Mare and Târnava Mică, and its tributaries include the Tur, Izvorul Iezerului, Secaș, and the Dunărița. Its drainage basin covers an area of 6,253 km2 (2,414 sq mi).
Cibin is a river in central Romania, in the south part of Transylvania. Its source is close to the highest peak in the Cindrel Mountains of the Southern Carpathian Mountains. Upstream from its confluence with the Râul Mic, the river is also called Râul Mare. The river flows entirely in Sibiu County.
The Târnava Mică is a river in Romania. Its total length is 196 km (122 mi), and its drainage basin area is 2,071 km2 (800 sq mi). Its source is in the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, in Harghita County. It flows to the west through the Romanian counties Harghita, Mureș, and Alba, more or less parallel to and north from the Târnava Mare. The cities of Sovata and Târnăveni lie on the Târnava Mică. It joins the Târnava Mare in Blaj, forming the Târnava.
The Someșul Mic is a river in north-western Romania. At its confluence with the Someșul Mare in Mica, the Someș is formed. Its total length is 178 km (111 mi), and its drainage basin area is 3,773 km2 (1,457 sq mi). It is formed at the confluence of two headwaters, Someșul Cald and Someșul Rece, that originate in the Apuseni Mountains. From the confluence, in Gilău, the Someșul Mic flows east and north through Cluj-Napoca, Apahida and Gherla, until it meets the Someșul Mare in Dej.
The Câlniștea is a right tributary of the river Neajlov in Romania. It discharges into the Neajlov in Călugăreni. Its length is 112 km (70 mi) and its basin size is 1,748 km2 (675 sq mi). It flows through the villages Botoroaga, Târnava, Tunari, Drăgănești-Vlașca, Bujoreni, Răsuceni, Prunaru, Carapancea, Naipu, Cămineasca, Schitu, Mirău, Stoenești, Ianculești, Hulubești, Uzunu and Călugăreni.
The Arieșul Mic is a river in the Apuseni Mountains, Alba County, western Romania. It is the right headwater of the river Arieș. It flows through the villages Avram Iancu and Vidra, and joins the Arieșul Mare in Mihoești near Câmpeni. Its length is 34 km (21 mi) and its basin size is 160 km2 (62 sq mi).
The Someșul Mare is a river in north-western Romania, originating in the Bistrița-Năsăud County in the Rodna Mountains at the confluence of two headwaters — the Preluci and the Zmeu. The Someșul Mare flows west through Rodna, Năsăud and Beclean, until it meets the Someșul Mic at Mica, upstream of Dej. Its length is 130 km (81 mi) and its basin size is 5,033 km2 (1,943 sq mi). Downstream from its confluence with the Someșul Mic, the river is called Someș.
The Lotru is a right tributary of the river Olt in Romania. Its source is in the Parâng Mountains. It feeds the reservoirs Vidra, Malaia and Brădișor. It flows into the Olt in Golotreni, near the town Brezoi. It passes through the communes Voineasa, Malaia, and Brezoi. Its length is 83 km (52 mi) and its basin size is 990 km2 (380 sq mi).
The Ghimbășel is a left tributary of the river Bârsa in Romania. Its source is in the northern part of the Bucegi Mountains. Originally it discharged directly into the Olt, but much of its flow has been diverted into the Bârsa, another tributary of the Olt, near Colonia Bod. Its length is 67 km (42 mi) and its basin size is 533 km2 (206 sq mi). The former lower course of the Ghimbășel, downstream of this diversion, still exists and is used for the discharge of local inflows. It flows into the Olt north of Bod. Its length is 6 km (3.7 mi) and its basin size is 8 km2 (3.1 sq mi).
The Râul Târgului is a left tributary of the river Râul Doamnei in Romania. Its source is near the Păpușa Peak, in the Iezer Mountains. It discharges into the Râul Doamnei between Micești and Mioveni. Its upper course, upstream from the confluence with the Bătrâna, is also called Cuca. Its length is 72 km (45 mi) and its basin size is 1,096 km2 (423 sq mi).
The Tărlung is a left tributary of the river Râul Negru in Romania. It discharges into the Râul Negru in Băcel. Its length is 57 km (35 mi) and its basin size is 485 km2 (187 sq mi).

The Sebeș is a left tributary of the river Mureș in Transylvania, Romania. The upper reach of the river is also known as Frumoasa. The Romanian and Hungarian name Sebeș and Sebes originate from the Hungarian adjective sebes meaning "speedy", while the German name means Mill Creek. The source of the river is on the south slope of the Cindrel Mountains, in the southwestern part of Sibiu County. It flows through the reservoirs Oașa and Tău. The Niraj is a river in the Gurghiu Mountains, Mureș County, northern Romania. Its name originates from the Hungarian word nyár, meaning "poplar". It is a left tributary of the river Mureș.
