Segheneyti Subregion is a subregion in the Debub (Southern) region (Zoba Debub) of Eritrea. Its capital lies at Segheneyti.

The regions of Eritrea are the primary geographical divisions through which Eritrea is administered. Six in total, they include the Maekel/Central, Anseba, Gash-Barka, Debub/Southern, Northern Red Sea and Southern Red Sea regions.

Areza is a town in the Debub (Southern) region of Eritrea. It is the capital of the Areza Subregion. It lies to the west of Mendefera. The area is primarily agricultural and contains 20 kebabis.

Tserona Subregion is a subregion in the southern Debub region of Eritrea. The area was a major battle zone during the Eritrean-Ethiopian War and has been a source of territorial dispute between Eritrea and Ethiopia about Tsorona-Zalambessa.

Debub Misraqawi or Zoba Enderta is one of Zones in the Ethiopian Region of Tigray. Debub Misraqawi is bordered on the south by Debubawi (Southern) Zone, on the southeast by the Amhara Region, on the northeast by Mehakelegnaw (Central) Zone, on the north by Misraqawi (Eastern) Zone, and on the east by the Afar Region. Mek'ele Special Zone is surrounded by Debub Misraqawi. Debub Misraqawi was separated from Debubawi Zone.

Zalambessa (district) Subregion or part in Eritrea or Ethiopia

Zalambessa is a small area on the border between Eritrea and Ethiopia claimed by the two countries that clashed especially on this issue in a war between 1998 and 2000. Eritrea believes that it belongs to its Debub Zone, while Ethiopia believes that it belongs to the Misraqawi Zone of Tigray.
