    The Slits British post-punk rock band

    The Slits were a British punk and post-punk band formed in London in 1976 by members of the groups the Flowers of Romance and the Castrators.     Rajinder Singh Rai, better known by his stage name Panjabi MC, is a British Indian recording artist, rapper, producer and DJ of Punjabi ethnicity.     Mustafa Sandal is a Turkish singer-songwriter. At the beginning of the 1990s, he wrote and composed a number of songs for other singers and made a reputation for himself in the music industry. In 1994, with the release of his first studio album Suç Bende and its subsequent success, he made a name for himself in Turkey. This was followed by the release of another album titled Gölgede Aynı in 1996. In 1998, the song "Aya Benzer" from his new album Detay became a number-one hit in Turkey. After signing a contract with Sony Music, he released the album Araba. The song "Araba" from the album became a massive hit. Throughout his career he continued to release many albums, including Akışına Bırak (2000), Kop (2002). Later, under the label Universal Music-Polydor, he released the album Seven (2003), followed by İste (2004), Devamı Var (2007), and Karizma (2009). In 2011, his single with Gülben Ergen, "Şıkır Şıkır", became the most downloaded song of the year. In 2012, Sandal released his 10th studio album Organik. In 2013, his new single "Tesir Altında" became one of the best-selling singles of 2013. Sandal has won many awards throughout his career. For his album Kop, he was voted the "Best Male Artist" in 2002.

    Turkish pop music had its beginnings in the late 1950s with Turkish cover versions of a wide range of imported popular styles, including rock and roll, tango, and jazz. This wide collection of songs was labelled as "Hafif-batı" music and included a wide range of artists, such as Frank Sinatra to Doris Day, Nat King Cole to the Everly Brothers, from Elvis Presley to Paul Anka.

    Devamı Var is the studio album by the Turkish pop singer Mustafa Sandal. The original release date for this album was December 2006 but was later pushed to 23 April, 19 May, and 8 June 2007. Two weeks before the release, an instrumental version of the song "Çoban" ("Shepherd") was available on Mustafa Sandal's official website. The official release date for the album was 13 June 2007.
