Mayabazar is a 1957 Indian epic Hindu mythological film directed by K. V. Reddy. It was produced by Nagi Reddi and Chakrapani under their banner, Vijaya Productions. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, with a few differences in the cast. The story is an adaptation of the folk tale Sasirekha Parinayam, which is based on the characters of the epic Mahabharata. It revolves around the roles of Krishna and Ghatotkacha, as they try to reunite Arjuna's son Abhimanyu with his love, Balarama's daughter Sasirekha (Savitri). The Telugu version features Gummadi, Mukkamala, Ramana Reddy, and Relangi in supporting roles, with D. Balasubramaniam, R. Balasubramaniam, V. M. Ezhumalai, and K. A. Thangavelu playing those parts in the Tamil version.

Telugu films sold 23.3 crore tickets in 2022, the highest among various film industries in India.
Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, known mononymously as Krishna, was an Indian actor, director and producer known for his work predominantly in Telugu cinema. In a career spanning more than five decades, he starred in over 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as "Superstar" in the Telugu media. In 2009, the government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Congress party in 1989. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South in addition to Honorary doctorate from Andhra University in 2008. He died on 15 November 2022 due to cardiac arrest.
Seema Sastri is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by G. Nageswara Reddy. It stars Allari Naresh and Farjana. The film was released theatrically on 16 November 2007. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the humour, action sequences, and songs, but criticized the writing. It was later remade in Kannada as Super Shastri (2012). It was dubbed into Hindi as Guru Mahaguru.
Bhakta Prahlada is a 1932 Indian Telugu-language Hindu mythological film directed by H. M. Reddy and produced by Ardeshir Irani of Imperial Film Company. It is the first sound film of Telugu cinema. It features Sindhoori Krishna Rao as the titular Prahlada, along with Munipalle Subbayya, Surabhi Kamalabai, Doraswamy Naidu, Chitrapu Narasimha Rao, and L. V. Prasad. No complete synopsis of the film is known to survive, but it is an adaptation of a play of the same name.

Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages, the film was produced by Nagi Reddi and Chakrapani under the banner Vijaya Productions. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, S. V. Ranga Rao and K. Malathi. The film focuses on a gardener's son who has to amass wealth equal to that of the king of Ujjain to marry his daughter and a sorcerer who has to sacrifice an intelligent and brave young man to Goddess Pathala Bhairavi to gain access to a statuette which can grant any wish.
Alluri Seetarama Raju is a 1974 Indian Telugu-language biographical action film directed by V. Ramachandra Rao and written by Tripuraneni Maharadhi. The film stars Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, and Jaggayya. It is produced by Padmalaya Studios marking the 100th film of Krishna. The film depicts the life of Alluri Sitarama Raju, an Indian revolutionary, who is known for his role in the Rampa Rebellion of 1922–24. Seetarama Raju, with a band of farmers, tribal leaders and other sympathizers, fought an armed rebellion against the British Raj in response to repressive legislation passed in 1882.

Osey Ramulamma is a 1997 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. The film is based on a woman's rebellion in Telangana and stars Vijayashanti as the title character. Rao and Rami Reddy also star while Krishna makes a cameo appearance. The film premiered at the 1998 International Film Festival of India in the mainstream section.
Seema Tapakai is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by G.Nageswara Reddy, produced by Dr. Vijaya Prasad Malla under Wellfare Creations banner and starring Allari Naresh and Shamna Kasim. The soundtrack was composed by Vandemataram Srinivas and cinematography was handled by Adusumilli Vijay Kumar. The dialogue of the movie was written by popular writer Marudhuri Raja. The screenplay was handled also by G Nageswara Reddy. The film was released on 13 May 2011.
Vande Mataram is a 1985 Indian Telugu-language film written and directed by T. Krishna, and produced Krishna Chitra. It stars Vijayashanti and Rajasekhar, with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film is the debut of actor Rajasekhar into the Telugu film industry.
Sampoorna Ramayana is a 1961 Indian Hindi-language Hindu mythological film directed by Babubhai Mistry, based on the Hindu epic Ramayana by Valmiki, starring Mahipal and Anita Guha as Rama and Sita respectively. The film was a box office hit, and became a milestone in the history of Hindu mythology. It was the second significant Hindi film based on Rama, after Vijay Bhatt's hugely popular Ram Rajya (1943). Babubhai, known for his special effects throughout his career, made extensive use of effects to enhance dramatics. The film also made lead actor Anita Guha, who played the role of Sita, a household name. Lata Mangeshkar sang two of the most top-class semi-classical songs in this movie, namely "San Sanan, Sanan, Sanana, Ja Re O Pawan" and "Badalon Barso Nayan Ki Or Se", which are still very popular.

The film stars Navin Sanjay, Tanishq Tiwari, Posani Krishna Murali and Jaya Prakash Reddy. It was directed by Prem Raj. The movie is produced and written by Murali Bommaku under the banner of Bommaku Creations. In January 2017, the Indian Central Board of Film Certification denied certification to film on the grounds that it was "likely to affect public order and disrupt peace."
Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Pooja Hegde, and Jagapathi Babu. It revolves around Veera Raghava, a young man who engages in a violent fight with henchmen from rival village. He escapes to Hyderabad and decides to stay away from violence in order to bring peace between the two villages whose people have been constantly affected by the feud for 30 years. S. Thaman composed the soundtrack, in his official 100th musical composition.
