Fuquay-Varina is a town in southern Wake County, North Carolina, United States, lying south of Holly Springs and southwest of Garner, and north of the Harnett County town of Angier and west of the unincorporated community of Willow Springs. The population was 17,937 at the 2010 census, and estimated at 30,324 as of July 2019. The hyphenated name attests to the town's history as two separate towns. Fuquay Springs and Varina merged in 1963 to create the modern town. Economically, the town initially grew due to tobacco trade and agriculture, but has seen recent population growth and real estate development due to its proximity to Research Triangle Park.

Even George Washington was said to have stopped there to try the waters on a trip to Georgia.
The Bronson Windmill is an historic windmill at 3015 Bronson Road in Fairfield, Connecticut. Built in 1893-94, it is the only surviving windmill in the town, ouf a number that once dotted the landscape. It was built for Frederic Bronson, owner of the local estate. The mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
New Hope A.R.P. Church and Session House is a historic Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church building and Session House located near Winnsboro, Fairfield County, South Carolina. They were built about 1886. The meeting house form church is a one-story, weatherboarded, frame church. It features a bracketed belfry with a bellcast roof. The session house is a 10 by 12 foot weatherboarded frame building with a gable roof.

Manitou Bathhouse or Manitou Spa is a historic building located along Fountain Creek in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Once used as a mineral water bathhouse or spa, the building is now used for stores and other businesses on the first floor. The second and third floors hold residential units. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in the building is Adam's Mountain Cafe.
Kincaid-Anderson House, also known as Fairfield, is a historic home located near Jenkinsville, Fairfield County, South Carolina. It was built about 1774, and is a two-story, brick Georgian style dwelling. It has a hipped roof and sits on a fieldstone foundation. It has small brick side wings that were added in a 1920s restoration. Also on the property is a two-story brick and frame work house that has been converted into a guesthouse. It was the home of James Kincaid, who was one of the first purchasers of cotton in the South Carolina upcountry and was possibly involved in the early development of a cotton gin.
Fonti Flora Plantation is a historic plantation house located near Monticello, Fairfield County, South Carolina. It was built about 1836, and is a 2-½ story clapboard residence set on low foundations. The front façade features a full width two-story Greek Revival portico supported by six square paneled piers. Additional decorative detail includes the Gothic Revival style tripartite Gothic windows on the front and side facades.
Balwearie is a historic plantation house located near Winnsboro, Fairfield County, South Carolina. It is a 1 1/2-story, brick and frame residence with a gabled roof and cross-gabled front porch. The first story is of brick construction; half-story is sheathed in weatherboard. The front gable is supported by six paneled wooden posts. The house was constructed about 1822, but altered following an 1886 storm. A rear porch was converted into a kitchen in 1975.
Ketchin Building, also known as the Fairfield County Historical Museum, is a historic building located at Winnsboro, Fairfield County, South Carolina. It was built about 1830, and is a three-story, five bay, Federal style brick building with a hipped roof. Originally built as a dwelling, it was sold in 1852 and was used as a school for girls until closed by the American Civil War.
Vaughn's Stage Coach Stop is a historic stagecoach stop located near Ridgeway, Fairfield County, South Carolina. It was built about 1820, and is a two-story, weatherboarded frame, gable-roofed residence with a double-pile and central hall floor plan. The building sits on a foundation of stone piers, has end chimneys, rear shed rooms, and a left rear addition. The façade features a one-story, shed-roofed porch with a plain wooden balustrade supported by six slender wooden posts.

Fuquay Mineral Spring is a historic mineral spring located at Fuquay-Varina, Wake County, North Carolina. The spring was discovered in the 1850s, and, from 1900 to 1930, thousands of people visited the spring to drink the mineral water reputed to cure kidney and intestinal ailments. The spring is covered by a gazebo and reached by a small footbridge.
