The mixed team 50 meter rifle prone event at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus took place on 25 June at the Shooting Centre. [1] [2]
50 metre rifle prone is an International Shooting Sport Federation event consisting of 60 shots from the prone position with a .22 Long Rifle (5.6 mm) caliber rifle. The time limit is 75 minutes for the entire match, including sighting shots, or 90 minutes if there is a need to compensate for slow scoring systems. In the 2013 ISSF rules the 60-shot prone match consists of 15-minute preparation and sighting time, followed by the match - 60 shots in 50 minutes for electronic scoring, and 60 shots in 60 minutes for paper targets.
The 2nd European Games 2019 was held in Minsk, Belarus, from 21 June to 30 June 2019. The games featured 200 events in 15 sports. Around 4,000 athletes from 50 countries participated. Ten of the sports offered qualification opportunities for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The opening ceremony at the Dinamo Stadium was held on 21 June and the closing ceremony at the Dinamo Stadium was held on 30 June.
Minsk is the capital and largest city of Belarus, situated on the Svislač and the Nyamiha Rivers. As the national capital, Minsk has a special administrative status in Belarus and is the administrative centre of Minsk Region (voblasć) and Minsk District (rajon). The population in January 2018 was 1,982,444, making Minsk the 11th most populous city in Europe. Minsk is the administrative capital of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and seat of its Executive Secretary.

Jennifer McIntosh is a British sports shooter. McIntosh is the daughter of four-times Commonwealth Games medalist Shirley McIntosh and the elder sister of British shooter Seonaid McIntosh.
The Mixed 50 metre rifle prone SH1 event at the 2008 Summer Paralympics took place on September 11 at the Beijing Shooting Range Hall.
Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo are scheduled to take place from 25 July to 2 August at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen different events at these Games has been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events, with the mixed team competitions.
Norway competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 September to 18 September 2016. They won a total of eight medals; three gold, two silver and three bronze. Sarah Louise Rung led the team by winning five medals in swimming; two gold, one silver and two bronze.

Qualification for shooting at the 2020 Summer Paralympics begins from 1 January 2019 to 15 July 2020. There will be three events for male and female sports shooters and seven mixed events. There will be a total of 154 athlete quotas.
