Silverdale School is a high school in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.

Silverdale School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It is the founding school of Chorus Education Trust. It opened in 1957 as a Secondary Modern school, and became a comprehensive school in 1969. It serves approximately 1,200 pupils from the local area, from ages 11 to 18. In 2004 Silverdale was placed 4th in Sheffield school performance exam league tables. In 2017 Silverdale students achieved the top A-level results of all state schools in the city. Recent Ofsted reports have been outstanding, as of 2015. In 2018 it was named the Sunday Times North State Secondary School of the Year. The school converted to academy status in January 2013. Michael Vaughan, the former England cricket captain, is a prominent Silverdale ex-pupil.

State Highway 17 was the designation for a 32-kilometre stretch of highway in northern Auckland in the North Island of New Zealand from December 1999 to October 2012. It is now designated Urban Route 31 and consists of the Hibiscus Coast Highway, Dairy Flat Highway and Albany Expressway. It linked State Highway 1 at Puhoi in the north with SH 1 at Albany in the south. Its main destinations were the towns of Waiwera, Orewa, Red Beach, Whangaparaoa, Silverdale, Dairy Flat and the suburb of Albany. Prior to its inception as SH 17, the road was part of SH 1, and was redesignated as SH 17 as the Northern Motorway was extended northwards and took over the designation of SH 1.

Silverdale is a civil parish in Lancaster, Lancashire, England. It contains 20 buildings that are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as designated listed buildings. Of these, two are at Grade II*, the middle grade, and the others are at Grade II, the lowest grade. Most of the listed buildings in the parish are houses and associated structures, or farmhouses and farm buildings. The other listed buildings include a former chimney, a church, a public house, and a limekiln.
