Simhada Mari Sainya is a 1981 Indian Kannada language children's film directed by Rajendra Singh Babu. [1] It stars Arjun Sarja (credited as Master Arjun Sarja), Amrish Puri and Baby Rekha. The supporting cast features an ensemble of other child actors and top Kannada stars. It won two awards at the 1981–82 Karnataka State Film Awards — Best Editor (K. Balu) and Best Female Child Actor (Baby Rekha). The film is notable for a scene that involves Arjun Sarja clinging onto a helicopter hovering at a height of 500 feet above the ground. A group of children, led by James and Arjun, journey into a forest to rescue the two daughters of their friend's sisters kidnapped by an evil man played by Amrish Puri.

Amrish Puri was an Indian actor, who was one of the most notable and important figures in Indian cinema and Theatre. He acted in more than 450 films, established himself as one of the most popular and iconic actors in Indian Cinema. Puri is remembered for playing various roles in variety of film genres, specially iconic villainous roles in Hindi Cinema, as well as International Cinema. He reigned supreme in villainous roles in the 1980s and 1990s, his dominating screen presence and distinctive deep voice made him stand out amongst the other villains of the day. Puri was active in both art cinema such as in some of Shyam Benegal and Govind Nihalani's films as well as in mainstream cinema. Puri won three Filmfare Awards for Best Supporting Actor in eight nominations. He also holds most Filmfare Award for Best Villain nominations.

Prema Baraha, titled Sollividava in Tamil, is a 2018 Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Arjun Sarja. It was produced by his wife Niveditha Arjun under his home studio of Sree Raam Films International, and made simultaneously in Kannada and Tamil languages. The film stars Chandan Kumar and Aishwarya Arjun, with different ensemble casts for the two versions. Jassie Gift composed the soundtrack and score. H. C. Venugopal was director of photography and Kay Kay edited the film. The two versions of the film were released worldwide on 9 February 2018. During its release, this film had a grand opening and it became a commercial success at the box office of Karnataka, but had a decent run in Tamil.

Oppanda (transl. Deal) is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language crime action film written and directed by S.S.Sameer, making his debut. It features Arjun Sarja and Radhika Kumaraswamy along with J.D.Chakravarthy in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Sony Charista and Bollywood actor Faisal Khan, making his Kannada debut. The score and soundtrack for the film is by Subhash Anand and the cinematography is by Amma Rajashekhar and the editing is done by Prabhu. The film was planned to be simultaneously released in Tamil as Iruvar Oppantham and in Telugu as Iddaru.
