The Apopcalyptic Manifesto is a compilation album by Norwegian futurepop group Apoptygma Berzerk. The album is mostly a compilation of tracks from Soli Deo Gloria and with other early single tracks added. A lot of tracks are exclusive to this release, such as the original version of "Arp", "APB Goes C-64" and "Lidelsens Mening". Also, the "Crisp version" of "Burnin' Heretic" included on the limited edition of this release hadn't been released since it appeared on the "Sex, Drugs & EBM" sampler in 1992. This was also the first time the original vinyl version of "Ashes to Ashes" was released on a CD along with its b-side "Wrack 'Em to Pieces".
Gloria in excelsis Deo, BWV 191, is a church cantata written by the German Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach, and the only one of his church cantatas set to a Latin text. He composed the Christmas cantata in Leipzig probably in 1745 to celebrate the end of the Second Silesian War on Christmas Day. The composition's three movements all derive from the Gloria of an earlier Missa written by Bach in 1733 for the Dresden court, which the composer would later use as the Gloria of his Mass in B minor.

The Old-timers is a South African Christian hardcore band that primarily plays hardcore punk and punk rock. They signed to Thumper Punk Records for their first studio album, Soli Deo Gloria, which was released in 2012 by Thumper Punk Records alongside Veritas Vinyl. They are the first South African Christian punk band to be signed to an American record label. Since then, they have released two extended plays, Spiritus Sanctus, in 2013, and, Be Reconciled, in 2014, with Thumper Punk Records alongside Veritas Vinyl.
