Sophia Churney is an English singer-songwriter and musician, She is best known for her work with the band Ooberman, [1] as well as their side acts Symphonika, The Magic Theatre, [2] and Ooberon. Her brother was the late musical performer Russell Churney.
Churney was a psychology teacher at West Kirby Grammar School on the Wirral, leaving in 2006.[ citation needed ]
Thomas Frederick Cooper was a Welsh prop comedian and magician. As an entertainer, his appearance was large and lumbering at 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m), and he habitually wore a red fez when performing. "Blossoms Falling" is a song by Ooberman, released as their first single for Independiente, and the first to be taken from the band's debut album The Magic Treehouse. It reached No. 39 in the UK, the only Ooberman single to date to make the UK Singles Chart Top 40. B-side "The Things I Have Lost" was later re-recorded for the band's "First Day of the Holidays" single.
"Shorley Wall" is a song by Ooberman, released as the fourth and final single from their debut album The Magic Treehouse. It was released by Independiente in March 2000, and was the band's last release for the label. "Shorley Wall" was originally the lead track of an EP released by the band in 1998. The song charted at #47 on the UK Singles Chart.
Waiting For The Sonic Boom is the debut album by Ooberman side-project Ooberon. It was recorded by Andy and Steve Flett, mostly at the latter's home in Wavertree, Liverpool. It includes contributions by Ooberman members Dan Popplewell and Sophia Churney, as well as former Ooberman drummers Jaymie Ireland and Alan Kelly.

Kelly Jury is a New Zealand netball international. She represented New Zealand at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games. During the ANZ Championship era Jury played for Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic. Since 2020, she has played for Central Pulse in the ANZ Premiership. Jury was a prominent member of the Pulse teams that won the 2020 and 2022 ANZ Premierships. Alongside Tiana Metuarau, she was co-captain of the 2022 Pulse team. She was the 2022 ANZ Premiership Player of the Year and shared the 2022 Dame Lois Muir Supreme Award with Grace Nweke.
