Geography

An area of forestry and farming comprising the village and a couple of hamlets situated in the valley of the river Auron, about 5 miles (8.0 km) southeast of Bourges, at the junction of the D2076 with the D15 and D46 roads.

The Canton of Levet is a former canton situated in the Cher département and in the Centre region of France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of 13 communes, which joined the new canton of Trouy in 2015. It had 10,922 inhabitants (2012).

The communauté de communes de la Septaine is located in the Cher département of the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. It was established on 15 December 1999. Its seat is Avord. Its area is 391.5 km2, and its population was 10,774 in 2018.

The canton of Trouy is an administrative division of the Cher department, in central France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Trouy.
