Sport Sciences Research Institute of Iran (SSRI) is the only national organization in charge of scientific research in the field of Physical Education and Sport Sciences. It was established in 1998 by Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. In 2011 to improve its structure the research center was promoted to research institute [1] and moved to its new location in Tehran, Iran. [2]

Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) is a research institution and university of engineering and science in Iran. The university is home to 15 faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of engineering-based subjects as well as maths, physics, and department of foreign languages. In 1995 IUST awarded Iran’s first PhDs in materials, metallurgical and traffic engineering. IUST is the only university in the Middle East which has a school of railway engineering and a school of progress engineering. Ali Akbar Salehi is an Iranian academic, diplomat and former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, who served in this position from 2009 to 2010 and also from 2013 to 2021. He served for the first time as head of the AEOI from 2009 to 2010 and was appointed to the post for a second time on 16 August 2013. Before the appointment of his latter position, he was foreign affairs minister from 2010 to 2013. He was also the Iranian representative in the International Atomic Energy Agency from 1998 to 2003.

Kharazmi University is a major public research university in Iran, named after Khwarizmi, Persian mathematician, astronomer and geographer, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of disciplines. It was established in 1919 as the Central Teachers' Institute and gained university status as Tarbiat Moallem University of Tehran in 1974. Ali Reza Mahjoub is an Iranian reformist politician, trade unionist and workers' rights activist who was a member of the Iranian Parliament and head of its "Worker fraction". He is Secretary-General of Worker House, as well as member of Islamic Labour Party's central committee. He was founder of Islamic Republican Party's worker wing in 1980s. Mahjoub holds a B.A. in History from University of Tehran.
Mansour Aghaei is an Iranian professional rock climber, specializing in lead climbing and bouldering who is currently in charge of the Iran national climbing team. He also has been teaching physical education in the University of Tabriz since 2012. In 2002 Aghaei came second in Asian Youth Championships in Malaysia.
