"Spring för livet" is a 2011 song written by Fredrik Boström and Sara Varga, and performed by Sara Varga at Melodifestivalen 2011, during the third semifinal in Linköping, where the song reached Andra chansen, and later the final, ending up 9th. It also charted at Svensktoppen for 35 weeks. [2] The song's lyrics gained attention for its depiction of abuse, serving as a contrast to the less serious topics common at Melodifestivalen. [3]

Sonja Aldén is a Swedish singer mostly famous for her 2006, 2007, 2012 and 2020 Melodifestivalen entries, and for working together with Shirley Clamp and Sanna Nielsen, as well as her songwriting for other artists. "Headlines" is a song by Swedish pop group Alcazar. The song was an entry in Melodifestivalen 2010 for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, where it reached the "Second Chance" which was held on March 6, 2010 at Conventum Arena in Örebro. However, they failed to qualify for the final after a public televote. No music video was shot to promote the single afterwards.

I'm in Love is a song written by Bobby Ljunggren, Thomas G:son, Irini Michas and Peter Boström. The song was performed by Sanna Nielsen at Melodifestivalen 2011 in the semifinal in Gothenburg on 12 February 2011. The song received the most votes and reached the final in the Stockholm Globe Arena, where it ended up 4th with 114 points. The song also charted at Svensktoppen, entering on 17 April 2011. and stayed at the chart for four weeks before leaving the chart.

Melodifestivalen 2018 was the 58th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 3 February and 10 March 2018.
