Sri Edi Swasono

Sri Edi Swasono (born in Ngawi, East Java, September 16, 1940 [1] ) is a professor of economics at the University of Indonesia. He was a member People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the emissary group in the New Order era of Indonesia, ruled by President Soeharto. [2] He has been involved in the cooperative world. His wife is the first daughter of Mohammad Hatta, the father of cooperative (Bapak Koperasi) Indonesia and the first vice president of Indonesia. Sri Edi spent his life to study and to fight for the development of cooperatives in Indonesia. [3]

Career

Sri Edi Swasono high educational background began with becoming a student of Faculty of Economics and graduated in 1963 [4]. Then continue their studies MPIA S2 earned at University of Pittsburgh in 1966. Not long after that, he completed his studies and obtained his Ph.D S3 in the same university (1969). [3]

He is a productive person. A lot of work, experience, and awards resulting from his hard work. His works include: [3]

Sri Edi actively trying to fight for the economic populist with cooperatives as a form of economic democracy. [4] For their hard work was, he was confirmed Professor, dated July 13, 1988 to bring inaugural speech, entitled "Economic Democracy, Commitment and Development of Indonesia". [4]

Muhammad Alhamid is an Indonesian professor, academician, lecturer, and civil servant. Muhammad was the chairman of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) for the period 2012–2017, after completing his duties as chairman of the Bawaslu, he was later appointed as a member of the Election Organization Ethics Council of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2017–2022 and was inaugurated on 12 June 2017 by Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Mubyarto was an Indonesian economist. He was born in Sleman, in Yogyakarta, and became a professor of economics at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta specialising in agricultural economics. He frequently wrote and spoke about challenges of agricultural development in Indonesia. Later in his career he became known for his interest in Pancasila economics and ekonomi rakyat.

Ari Kuncoro is an Indonesian banker, economist, author and university administrator, and the current rector of the University of Indonesia. He took office on 4 December 2019, succeeding Muhammad Anis. Before becoming the rector of the University of Indonesia (UI), Ari taught at the Faculty of Economics and Business, becoming the faculty's dean from 2013 until 2019. Ari also held the office of chief commissioner of the Bank Negara Indonesia since 2017 and continued to held the office after his election as rector. Ari ended his term as chief commissioner in February 2020 and assumed the office of deputy chief commissioner of the Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in the same year. His new post sparked protests from the university's internal, who demanded him to resign from his position in BRI as it violated the university statute. In response to this, the government removed the limitations from the university statute in a controversial amendment, but Ari later resigned from his position in BRI in July 2021.

She had also served as a member of the People's Consultative Assembly ad hoc expert team in 2001 and became the secretary of the Constitutional Commission.
