The Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch (SM's) is a museum for modern art in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. It focusses on contemporary visual arts and design, [1] and is specialised in ceramics and jewelry. The museum is a member of the International Council of Museums and the Dutch Museum Organisation (Museumvereniging  [ nl ]).

De Vliert

De Vliert is a multi-use stadium in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Den Bosch. The original stadium was built in 1951, included an athletics track and had at its heyday a capacity of 30,000, making it one of the largest stadiums in the Netherlands. The old stadium was replaced in 1997 by the new stadium, which saw the field rotated 90° and is currently able to hold 8,500 people. The grandstands are partially heated by infrared heaters to provide comfort to spectators.

Herzogenbusch was a Nazi concentration camp located in Vught near the town of 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. The camp was opened in 1943 and held 31,000 prisoners. 749 prisoners died in the camp, and the others were transferred to other camps shortly before the camp was liberated by the Allied Forces in 1944. After the war the camp was used as a prison for Germans and Dutch collaborators. Today there is a visitors' centre with exhibitions and the memorial Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught remembering the camp and its victims.

Airai was a town of ancient Ionia, near Erythrae mentioned by Thucydides. It was a polis (city-state), and a member of the Delian League since it appears in tribute records of Athens between the years 454/3 and 427/6 BCE. In the year 411 BCE, during the Peloponnesian War, the Chians caused the cities of Lebedus and Airai, until then allies of Athens, to revolt against it. Airai's silver and bronze coins dating from the 4th century BCE bearing the inscription «ΑΙΡΑΙΩΝ» survive.

The Brabanthallen is a convention center in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. Every year, it hosts several exhibitions, conferences, trade fairs, concerts and other big events. It is the third largest convention center in the Netherlands, after RAI Amsterdam and Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
